I was at a thrift store today all paintings were 50% off I found a DuPont Water color painting of Portugal with sailboats in it I only paid five dollars even if it’s not worth a lot it’s beautiful

I loved that you reminded people to write this stuff down! I've got a great app on my phone for list making (yeah, I'm one of those). I write down Company names, along with the Makers Mark, any signature styles to look out for, etc. All I have to do is type a name in the search box & if I wrote it down, it's right there for me. It's a great way to keep all this FANTASTIC knowledge at my fingertips because my brain doesn't work like yours! 😉

Had to smile about the Meissen story. I bought a small Meissen figurine at Goodwill for $3 a couple of years ago. I about fell over when I spotted it. Sold it to a serious collector in France for $575. My latest trash pick is a piece of kitchen ware worth abt $300. Yes, the stuff is out there.

Hello. I found your channel yesterday upon my search to get more information on valuable beenie babies. I am an online reseller and have mostly focused on reselling apparel and more modern items but you have sparked a new curiosity for antiques in my search. I look forward to learning more. Also, I thought of a cool slogan if you ever were to make merch. I pictured a t-shirt with simply “Dr. Lori, Of Course” written across the chest. :D
