Thank you Dr Lori, another great assortment of items. I'm a relatively new viewer, and a bit of a..shall we say..."amasser of stuff", much as my 1923 born mother was. I buy some things just for love; some for creative repurposing: and a few here and there that just seem to be obviously a quick flip for profit. What I lack sometimes is the follow-through to put the darn thing up for sale, and a bitta uncertainty sometimes about the item. But having just watched a vintage Barbie video the other day, and minutes later stopping at a garage sale and spotting something in a jumble box of dolls, I heard your voice in my head, checked her naked buttocks, and grabbed her...along with some of her 1966 outfits. As luck would have it my grown daughter spotted her later that weekend, and muttered things about the way her head spins with dread thinking bout being faced with sorting my stuff someday, lol. She seemed unappeased though when I mentioned the potential profit, quite rightfully snorting and saying, "but you never sell anything mo-om, that's the problem." So I told her to take some good pics and post the lot; and armed with my new found confidence, I was handing her to an eager buyer the next day for about 15 times my investment. So many awesome finds. Its crazy what is out there and unmarked. I found some sterling this week. I went in a bit late and everyone was crowded around the collectable cases checking the "silver" in there. I didn't want to deal with the crowds and so I walked over to a cart that had just rolled out. Not much, but then I spy the base of a metal dish and was like, that looks similar to my sterling candle sticks. Sure enough, its a lovely sterling bon bon dish. Love finding the treasures thanks to Dr Lori.

I have an old teddy that was my nanas and she was born in 1894. He has had his paw pads replaced and I did fix his growler. Gerga bear is not narked but he is old mohair with straw inside him. He was once valued at $500 many years ago

Ran across you on an episode Pawn Stars, then on a video of that young designer in LA who calls himself Lone Wolf, the one who had just bought a vintage house with that amazing collection of vintage chandeliers. (I was SO glad he got in touch with you before he just started randomly yanking some of them down!!!) Anyhow, in this video today, I was a little surprised at the time frame you dated the necklace watch. I had thought surely it was art deco, twenties or thirties, but you dated it much later. Did I miss some detail that indicated that later time frame? Just wondering...

I don’t know jack about antiques but it’s fun listening to you and getting quite an education. I do have extremely good taste and an eye for good quality. I think there might be hope for me.☺️

I inherited my grandmother’s 1910 Steiff Teddy bear and her Steiff dog “Tige” .. and this got me into researching these bears. I found my first one in Portland Oregon in 1990’s and went to the estate sale just to get it! It was marked at $400 and I had to wait to enter the sale as it was a “take a number” sale and wait! I made a bee line straight to that bear and told the seller that it wasn’t Steiff as it didn’t have the right button in ear.. as I didn’t know about the blank button Steiff at that time! She discounted it to $200 for me.. I bought it and went home and did my research.. I had a 27” large, 1905 Center Seam Steiff with the blank button! This was before ebay days.. so I found the collectors in the back of the bear collector magazines and reached out to two well known collectors. I sent them polaroid pics by mail.. and they each bid on the bear! He sold for $9400 back in 1992 to a collector who had a bear museum in California. Boy was I excited!! I found another 10” Steiff, 1910, a few weeks later and bought him for $600 and sold him to the other collector for $2200. My husband never complained again about my estate sale shopping!! 🤣 I still have my bear and dog from my grandmother and my kids know their value!♥️

I tried to find where I can send you the jewelry I told you about and couldn’t, I know you will keep them in good condition, and I have these little animals I want to send also send you.

You need to tell some stories about how people pick up stuff at thift stores and it is not worth what they paid for it. Don't just show all success stories. I sell on Ebay every day and just because something is old or even rare does not mean there is demand for it. You are a very knowledgeable person but finding good items to sell is difficult. I sell every day and I like to dream about finding something very valuable but haven't hit paydirt yet.
