Ran this kit super hard on a track day, 3 hours total for an hour straight. Never really got hot. Very happy with this kit.

Great review, I love your car, it’s rowdy!!! I wanted to correct you though on your understanding of the way a larger brake disc increases your stopping power. It’s all about the leverage or torque the brake is applying to the hub to slow it down. Plus, when you move that caliper away from the center of the spinning hub the disc it’s grabbing on to is actually spinning faster! Imagine if we both ran around a cone and you were right next to it, and I was 20’ away from the cone. In order for us to both make it around the cone together and end back up at the same point I would have to be running waaaay faster than I’d wanna! 😂 Another benefit is the larger disc size helps it absorb and dissipate heat better! Not trying to “ACTUALLY” you, just trying to help you since you’re helping us! 🍻

I have a 2004 Marauder I've been dabbling with the idea of a brake upgrade but I don't race it or abuse it so it would be strictly appearance and not for performance advantage. I do have the stainless brake hoses already and there's a difference in feel. I came here searching for brake upgrades because I know there's an upgrade that modifies the spindle to use Mustang parts but if I am going that far I'd spring for the Brembo parts stock on GT500's but once again can the rear be modified for fitment? I'd entertain this kit you installed and hopefully there's matching rear discs available due to front being Mustang/rears being Panther. The brakes currently on the Marauder were installed in 2016 and have 11K miles on them so they're still perfect. That's great because I'll shelf them because they fit my Town Car.

Nice job. I ordered the kit from rang industries I couldn’t get the brake pads and caliper to close down for nothing. The rotors are so thick the caliper won’t slide on with the brakes I’m lost. I’m so disappointed smh

What pads did you go with?

Zach brake upgrade with c5 calipers cost around $700 if u buy new stuff

IMO if I knew about this I would have done this over the c5 because the c5 caliper is barely any bigger if any bigger at all than the panther caliper lol I was comparing the brake pads when I was doing mine and they are pretty close in size so this is pretty cool and I can’t get over how torquey the merc is😂 makes me realize how unhealthy my car is and is just straight up doodie
