Try hydroxyzine (avoid obviously if patient is on other anti-cholinergic drugs), from my experience in clinical pharmacology the mix of opioids and a low dose of lorazepam is rarely dangerous unless in debilitated patients. Use your empathy and don't assume people just want tablets for the sake of it.
@@Kiran.Morjaria Of course not, that's being completely hyperbolic. You're smarter than that. Not EVERYONE asks for a sleeping pill etc. Plus, my first choice was a safe non-addictive antihistamine.
@@Kiran.Morjaria Ah you misunderstood what I meant. Of course no pharmacological options come first. I simply meant if you have a very agitated patient or someone who has persistent sleep issues for 2+ nights, a medication while you try to find the root cause may not be the worst idea.
