The current 2023 real estate environment has many people scratching their heads. Many that purchased real estate in 2021 and earlier have locked in very low interest rates. That plus dealing with all the 2nd and 3rd order effects from 'rona have many feeling trapped.
If you're a first time homebuyer looking to purchase real estate - then I am sorry. In my opinion, it will be more challenging for you to purchase your first home than it was for me. Despite this, I believe if you focus on the positive, effectively manage your day/life, then over time your real estate and wealth building efforts will be rewarded.
If you're looking to level up...stay put...be patient...buy if you have to.
If you're looking to purchase a retirement home then please make an effort to make a realistic and reasonable purchase. In my opinion, selling your current home and paying CASH for your retirement home is what you should be aiming to accomplish.
