There is an old flight sim called Janes USAF. If you can find it, it is really good. Historical missions, Vietnam, Dessert storm. Red Flag, In air refueling, etc...

you should adjust the curves of your trackir. maybe the position of the sensor would help as well. i had the same issues until i adjusted it.

Great vid! Please keep up with the DCs content. All us armchair pilots appreciate it :) Congrats on the TrackIR. Would like to see you go against some human monkeys. The TrackIR software has a function where you can see the LED positions in the Camera. You can use this view to adjust the Camera physical position so the LED lights won't go off camera and cause a freeze.

Fly missions where you control several flights, sead, cap and bombing. You can even fly the F117!

In the training section you have to do low level flight, keeping that carott right above the horizon! I challenge you as a former thunderbird pilot to check it out!

OK battle, buddy, I like your comment about common sense that was funny. I'm a veteran former Bradley mechanic. I was in civil air patrol when I was 14 to 16. When my squadron was Disbanded . I realize there is no such think as common sense.When I was in reception before I got to Basic training. I was 30 years old.When I decided to join the army . So There there were quite A few common sense mishaps To be nice about it

Hello! Great video and here's why! I dreamed of being a pilot, but, unfortunately, I didn’t become one. But the Flanker simulator appeared on my first Pentium 166 MHz. In 1997. I didn’t have a joystick, so I flew on the keyboard. I wonder if you can take off, circle and land the plane, at least with full tanks, without a joystick, using only the keyboard. Well, of course you can do this several times in a row. How many times can you land a plane without crashing it without a joystick? You are a real professional! pro! Your dogfight is not very different from what came out on my keyboard back in the day! What is the highest realistic setting you can do this at?

How effective are flares against an AIM9 type missile? I’ve thought about this. If the front of the missile had a camera that could send information back to the missiles CPU, AI could discern what’s a flare and what’s the target this ignoring the flares…

if you have enough money and a good enough pc you can try and invest in a vr headset basically only the bigscreen beyond is suitable since the resolution is high enough tho its really pricy and doesnt come with base stations or controllers which i recommend valve index controllers and base stations it will cost around 2250 total also another heads up is that you need an iphone to buy the bigscreen beyond to make a scan of your face so the face gasket fits perfectly i do also feel like this recommendation is kinda stupid since you've probally already looked into this kinda stuff but i do it anyways

Good god that is freaky. Never thought about getting the ocean and sky confused. With no clouds looks really easy to get disoriented. Damn imagine at night triple the threat. Fighter pilots are some unbelievable super humans. Split second decisions,have to be in top physical shape, be masters of energy management. Then add in navigation,engine systems and coms. After all that then they have to fight or drop ordinance with pin point precision and deal with ground threats such as surface to air missiles. 😮

if you lower the amount of negative z axis movement it should resolve the ducking issue , check it out see if it works !

Unrealistic -- USAF rarely fight its trucks (F-15C) DCA without wingmen or outside help (AWACS)...that AESA on the F-15C is quite good, but it is what it is and can only do so much (e.g. BVR Combat ID, Track while Scan, etc).

It looks a bit fast in roll rate for reality. But since I haven't flown 15C, I am only guessing. Max Afterburner probably can breakdown the realism level of the dynamics better.

In round 2 the wingman didnt get you. When you you get 'peppered' lol most likely it was on the wing. And you pulled too many g's trying to avoid the ground and the wing snapped.

F15C in DCS has no structural g limit

@@appa609 You're wrong about that. At high speed and high g the wings will snap. Which is unrealistic. Because in real life the jet will be able to handle way more g's than the pilot.
