Did you wake up feeling unwell this morning? Did you think that fog you saw in the city was actually fog? Do you think only the residents of Eccles will bear the health impact of the smoke billowing from the Haags Bosch Landfill on a daily basis? Did the government really just hand 1.2 billion dollars taxed from the public over to Brian Tiwarie of BK International even after leaving such a mess behind? If you watched the longer 'The Poisoned City' documentary posted to the channel earlier this month and thought it was all in the past. Welcome to the present and very likely the future if nothing is done to address this issue. The cruel thing is if you live in Georgetown, East Bank Demerara, West Bank Demerara or lower East Coast Demerara you can't refuse to breath in this stench of negligence and corruption.
