SHOUT OUT to EVERYONE who took the time to watch this video! DOUBLE TIME for the Whatchers who watched the WHOLE VIDEO🤓🙌🏼👀 Thank you guys for valuing our opinions on BTS. I know how precious BTS is to you (and now us) and I don't take it lightly that you have trusted us to this extent. One LOVE 🤓💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
The one in the back was JK! I found the clip of his freestyle! I hope yall check it out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aWVVRwdUrF4.html
Man I miss Hope on the Street... J-Hope's musicality and isolation is astounding. He has a unique skillset in the world of K-pop. He earns my respect for the years he has put in honing his craft #방탄소년단제이홉 #제이홉 #JHope
whenever you see three of them dancing, it's most likely going to be Jimin, Hobi, and Jungkook. the original dance line was made up of just them, and we call them 3J.
J-Hope is A Killer Dancer. He is a Phenomenal performer and all of ARMY knows it. His background in dancing and years of training have made him one of the best dancers in music industry today. I can't wait for you guys to attend their concert and get mind blown by the "JUNG HOSEOK".
Some people have determination, some talent and some just have a gift. When all of those meet you have a J-hope. Happy birthday, btw. Thanks for sharing his gifts.
Since I didn't see anyone else mention it- The girl Hobi was dancing with where you asked if it was a girlfriend the answer is no, but that girl's name is Ryujin who is now part of the girl group Itzy. She danced with Jhope and Jimin in the love yourself highlight reel- which plays into the storyline behind their MVs. I was sad to see no clips of him dancing with Neuron(His dance crew from way back when he was a kid). I know there's videos of Neuron battling others for competitions which Hobi won a lot of- I'll look for some and see if I can find them because he was amazing when battling(Not to say he isn't amazing now, we all know Hobi's got mad skills). Thanks for the reaction guys 💜
@@WhatchaGot2Say No problem and if you ever want to check out some baby Hobi dancing/practicing with Neuron: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QyNST9oF0dA.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LJ_kvJ7QAJQ.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0QFz07wBDAc.html Sadly it's hard to find footage of him in Neuron anymore. I don't know if people got rid of the videos or what. But the guy dancing with him in two of the videos I linked is the Co-Leader of Neuron- Bangster. He taught Hobi to street dance/ Pop and Lock. You can see Hobi moves a lot like him even now though Hobi has his own charm he adds when dancing. I'll keep a look out for those battle vids though.
okay so uhhhhhhhh I was literally trying not to scream out loud the entire time I was watching this skdjlghkdg I... cannot tell you how pumped up I got watching this reaction. To see a group of people who _truly_ understood every single thing Hoseok was doing, who _truly_ understood what a devoted student he is of the craft and the inherent value in that, who saw his passion and his talent and his musicality and his authentic existence in the hip-hop community... It was just. Invigorating. Thrilling. I was, like... clapping to myself, saying "fuck yeah," I don't even know what else. Crazy. Street dancers are often overlooked for a variety of reasons: It isn't seen as being as respectable or flashy as urban dance, contemporary/modern dance, classical genres, etc. People who aren't familiar with street dance or the old-school hip-hop scene don't understand that it's not the same as urban dance (though it's a set of skills that can elevate one's urban dancing ability greatly). It can be seen by some people as outdated or even overly-simplistic. But it is incredibly difficult, as Blaze and AJJ have made very clear. It's a craft that a dancer devotes their life to, just as Hoseok has. The two clips you guys thought were super old are actually quite recent, only from the past couple years. He is constantly pushing himself to learn and improve the foundational techniques in the genre (you saw him studying bounce techniques there), while always remaining stubbornly loyal to the old-school style, which is so, so rare for a person his age-and at his level of fame-and of his nationality. I have never been a street dancer. I was only any kind of dancer for a collective handful of years in my life. But dance has always utterly fascinated me, and I've researched it and watched it to a great extent my whole life. I'm a lover of many genres, but street and urban dancing have always had my heart. I've seen a LOT of people dance. There are truly incredible dancers all over the world, both famous and non-famous. It's completely impossible and completely pointless to try and say who is the "best"... but there is something about Jung Hoseok that is so different, it twists me up inside. It's a combination of a lot of things. The simultaneous joy and love and gravity in him when he moves, the devotion to the craft, the attention to detail, the control from head to finger to toe, the ability to use his knowledge to guide others, the immersion in and respect for the culture, the way you can see his abilities in every move he makes, the way he cannot stop himself from expressing things with his whole physicality even when he's not dancing for real, and then... things that can't even be put into words. I know that not everyone feels this way, naturally. We are all different. But for me, his dancing has an aura that is practically its own life force. And letting that aura rise up and surround you is a powerful experience. Now you know why I was on your ass. I don't even have to thank you guys for watching this. It's pretty clear to me that seeing it was its own reward for you, and I'm so, so glad.
Everything you said is all facts!!! Especially when you said street dance is overlooked and not take serious like the other styles. Quick story, I attended a community college where I was in a dance class. I was selected to choreograph a popping routine for a show my class was going to do. After the show, there were a bunch of well know dance choreographers at the show and they were commenting on everybody who choreographed a routine in the show. It was 6 of us who created a routine. I was the only one who did a street dance routine. The "well-known" choreographers told me my routine wasn't as technical as everyone else's routines and it looked like I just threw all my favorite moves together and put it in a routine. Lol. I was like "Ok, thanks!" Lol. But the funny part is, my teacher did a poll, consisting of the audience that attended the show and also my classmates and I'm not exaggerating, but everybody liked my routine the most out of every other routine in the show. And I was up against Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Jazz routines. So, moral of the story, street/urban dance should never be overlooked.
@@adamjupiter1 ADAM! Sorry for the late reply, man, but thank you so much for telling me this story! Definitely falls into the category of "disappointed but not surprised" when it comes to those choreographers, lol. But hey, though, I'm also not surprised you were the popular favorite. Your audience probably got their life!
FINALLY somebody who knows to appreciate fully the amount of skill and absolute body control that Hoseok has. Also, his versatility. Not many ppl who know BTS know to fully appreciate street dancing, both bc of ignorance and elitism, as street dancing is not given all the respect it deserves tbh. The clips of him learning house are from the beginning of 2018, I believe. The guys were having a sort of a break and his Version of break is expanding his knowledge of dancing styles, it seems lol.
Whenever they’re dancing in a trio it’s most likely jhope, jimin and jungkook. They were the OG dance line (v is a part of it too now) and are often called 3J
WhatchaGot2Say glad I could help out :) loved this reaction btw! you can really tell how much the three of you appreciate not only dancing, but also hobi & the rest of the members 💜 you’re all so genuine and I always look forward to your videos because of it! 😊
WhatchaGot2Say here's a link of that single part!! you can react to it along with blaze and ajj!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a5x1AUQ4b7M.html
I love hearing Blaze and Adam's explanations of JHope's process while dancing and preparing. Also to see the excitement in their faces while watching him. You can tell it comes from a place and of experience and love for the art of dance. Krumping, popping and locking to be particular. Plus the occasional "stank faces" while watching him. LOL
Strangely enough, the clips where Hobi is studying house are more recent clips than the others. Also, he kills at dancing house and I would love to see him do a full song in the style.
J-hope the king of dance, also called the dance machine,k-pop hobi is an artist in terms of rap, dance and singing is a perfect person 🥰 thank's for the best reaction
Dude is sick with the dance moves! As a Hip Hop lover and writer, it warms my heart seeing how much he loves the culture, and how much of a universal lanfuage that Hip Hop is...
Hobi once said in an interview that he would love to have more time to go around and learn all sorts of street dance styles, with their busy schedules its not easy. And going to dancers, true to the style dancers, is way more fun than learning from someone who was taught Y'know what I mean?
I enjoyed this so much! You can tell j hope has a mastery of dance that isn't just related to him being an idol. Dancing is in him, is him and i see how it lights him up. I see it in your friends too when they speak about their old dancing days. I love seeing people just have that spark in their eyes talking about what they love. Also y'all hella funny when jhope shocks you 😂😂😂
I could watch him dance forever. Watching him makes me happy and smile so much. The love for it, the respect he has for it. His body control. Dance is his soul, you can see it in his eyes and smile when he talks about it. The things I feel watching him dance are crazy
The video of jhope doing the kiki challenge was actually the most retweeted tweet of 2018 and also plz react to mama by jhope its lyrics and definitely its live performance
the ones y'all said look historic or real old of him practicing house is actually the latest hope on the street 😅 we were so happy when he posted them like my twt tl was in tears of happiness
He has done way newer ones honey! In fact the one in the comp they watched where he was dancing more slowly with the white jacket and red pants was much newer than those, and there are even newer clips than that.
@@curvytangerine but he didn't say it looked like old footage to those... hobi had one hope on the street last year and all the others from 2018 therefore more current than the others in the compilation. the one where he's in the red pants was literally 1-2 apart from the ones of him practicing house so my point literally still stands ???
haven’t seen one other channel that dedicates this much reaction time just to hope and his dancing. thanks so much for how much y’all appreciate him, he deserves every ounce of credit that he gets. it feels real good to see him being loved on, and such enthusiasm, too.
I FELL OUT😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 when Jimin did that flip and Adam said "there you go" and the 3 of you looked at the back wall looking for someplace to go!! You guys were " JUNGSHOOK"!! I kept cracking up even after I finished watching the reaction! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. You guys are the best! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JHOPE!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@istanthegreatest Where did I say anything mean? All I said is that it's Jungkook and that they tend to forget he's a kickass dancer too, which they do.
@@curvytangerine I didn't say anything about them snubbing Jungkook. I said they forget he's dance line too (alongside Taehyung now). Most baby ARMY reactors do. It's not being mean to point it out and remind them.
JHope is an amazing dancer, he always manages to surprise me with how quickly he learns the dances and i love hw he also introduces some of his own moves into the choreographies
It's nice as dancers they can truly see the amount of hard work that Hobi puts into this craft. No offense, but ARMY watch Hoseok and know he's a great dancer, but these guys here know what work he puts into it. His traditional practices, devotion to the pop style, the absolute fluidity in his movements and smooth transitions are absolutely iconic. As a dancer myself I see this and it makes me want to get up and go practice. Which I heard these guys feel the same. That's the passion of dancing. That's the pure feelings of seeing someone do so well and being so sick nasty that you want to go and practice to better yourself. Dance is ever changing you are never truly a master at dancing. But I'll tell you, Jhope is pretty close to it.
That part where you see RM dancing behind Hobi, it's not wide screen because it's during the time they're still hiding V. People shouldnt see him yet because he is their secret weapon.
@@gaileth8761 😊 yep, those people, I don't consider them ARMY. They don't know how hard BTS's choreography. And the fact that RM and Jin can keep up with their moves means they're great dancers. Those are same as other fake ARMY calling other members ugly.
@@gaileth8761 Rm and suga said themselves pre- debut that they're bad at dancing they gave themselves that title and as far as Jin it's not that he's bad he just takes the longest to learn.
Please react to his dance battles in American Hustle Life! He's killer in a dance battle... Wish there was more footage of it. Hell, I really wish he would dance battle now because with his current skills I can imagine him destroying just about any opponent, lol. This was such a good reaction! I love Hobi's dance style and his skills are so special but not many appreciate them in the way you guys do. It's just lovely seeing people discuss his moves and get so hype about his abilities. Thanks for reacting. #제이홉
Long post of jhope appreciation ahead... This was an absolute pleasure to watch. I've been a follower for a long time but somehow completely missed this, which is shocking considering I'm Hope-biased. I just wanted to say thank you so much for reacting to this! I watched the entire thing and it's so refreshing to hear you say what I've been saying for a long time to those people who fight over who is the better dancer. They're all so different that you can't pit them together but it all comes back to what you guys said. Hobi knows his craft, he studied hard. He doesn't just know how to move, he knows the history of every movement he's doing and you can see it in the way he dances. And I think sometimes young dancers don't know just how important that it. He truly has an appreciation for the art and as a former dancer myself, it makes me want to get back into the studio. Another thing as well, JK, Jimin and V are all amazing in their own way but you can see from Hobi's Hope on the Street videos just how much they've learned from him. They've created their own styles but the fabric of that is Hobi's teachings. I've seen it many times how dancers can lose their passion for dance during training and it does sometimes have a lot to do with your teacher. You can see how much Hobi influenced the Maknae line and made their training so much fun that they now share the same love for dance. And I know that Jin and Namjoon have joked about how strict Hobi is and hinted that they're a little scared of him (aren't they all though?!) but you can see his influence in the way they dance too, especially Jin. I have so much more to say but I could honestly go on and on. So I'll leave it here. Thanks again for really highlighting how brilliant Hobi is, not just his passion but for his technique. His technique is often overlooked because people don't know what they're seeing.... Gahhhh I need to stop! x
Please react this video: "The Dance Leader of BTS: J-Hope [Happy Birthday To Sunshine Hobi]". This video describe how J Hope direct and lead BTS members in term of dance and performance.
I mentioned this on another video but it makes me so so happy you guys are giving J-Hope the attention he deserves. He often gets overlooked by fans and while everyone in the band are very good dancers, I don’t think they could’ve gotten to that level without J-Hope. You can tell he lives and breathes dance and he’s sooooo mesmerizing to watch. I could just talk endlessly about how much I love him and his passion for dance. You can really feel it when you watch him.
Thanks for sharing this; didn't think I could appreciate Hobie any more than I have ...but NEW level of respect. Wow. And you highlight the points...appreciate you.
A perfect tribute to our Sunshine boy Jung Hoseok, our Hobi and J-Hooooooope!! He is such a phenomenal dancer and performer. Love his natural born creativity and talent. He is definitely our hope and hope for hip hop.😄
I was born in the 70's (the best era). As a teen I got to enjoy the "poppin, lockin, breakin" etc. that came with the 80's. Here's the ZINGER ... J-Hope was born in 1994. I swear his moves are like straight out of "Breakin" "Beat Street" "Electric Boogaloo".
It's fun to see that they're super hyped in the beginning and the further they get in to the video the more mesmerized and humbled they get by J-Hopes dancing. He's a true artist in every way!
This is the best reaction to Hope on the Street. Insightful and I love your commentary about the difficulty of the dancing from your own experience. So glad you took the time to include all of J-Hope’s amazing skills. I watched this from beginning to end!
A Lawson So glad you enjoyed it! We love the appreciation that HOBI has for the art of dance...especially hip hop because that’s what we grew up with so we identify with the history and culture a little more. Jhope is truly one of the best and we’ve seen it all in the hip hop scene.
This video is my safe space... I've watched this countless times now and it makes me so happy to see you guys reminiscing and pointing out the type of dance he is doing.
Hello boys! I just really appreciate your unbridled enthusiasm for BTS. I am a sixty year old white woman but I was a theater major in college and I appreciate ALL types of dance and music. You don’t hold back with your emotional responses and, again, I APPRECIATE that! I’ve been following BTS since their debut in 2013 and there is so much out there for you to see about them. Keep on! Enjoy! Love it!
I love his dancing so much I knew nothing about hip hop dancing but Jhope made me love it and learn about it. You guys should practice again and show us your moves :)
can you believe there are way more than these compilations??? HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MAN HOBIIIII, omg theres also the one where jhope and jungkoo danced to manolo (same session where jk in the black mask black shirt with timberlands) it was so entertaining sad they didnt include that too.. AS ALWAYS GREAT REACTION!!! looking forward for more!
It's funny that you mentioned it because one thing that I found from watching hobi is that he does have great musicality while dancing. It was great to see because people oftentimes tell me the same thing lol. Thanks for the great reaction!!
Hobi!!!!! 💜💜💜💜 this was awesome. What’s really fun for me is just to watch them dance live, music videos or dance practices, everyone stays to choreo but Hobi ALWAYS adds his own flair to it. I love looking for it. Happy Birthday Jung Hoseok!!!!! I am so happy you stayed with BTS. It would not be the same without our ☀️☀️ Blaze I saw you moving during the popping. 😊 Adam you were just beaming with pride for your Bias. Thank you sooo much for this video.
The look of pure joy on all three of tour faces watching J-Hope do what he loves was everything this video. Thank you for sharing it. Also you should see the MAMA 2016 performance the intro is j-hope and jimin to boy meets evil and it's amazing. Also happy birthday to the ultimate sunshine our Hope!💜💜
What i love most about jhope is his passion for dance he always wants to learn new dances and gets help for that he is just so in it and that is the cooles thing ever i just love him !!!!
Trust me, at the dance studio it’s all about learning this stuff first. I have spent HOURS after hours just popping and freestyling at the studio, I learned so much about the musical history behind it. Dancers will keep at this, the fundamentals of dance. 💜
The guy at the back of Jhope is Jungkook. I love all of them. Different members, different personality but they blend and completed each other. That's why their friendship is so rare nowadays. Especially Jhope, with all those talents and being the richest among the members, he's still humble and all. I'm 45 years old, married and from the Philippines. Love them, love them.
I’m going to share your video to Weverse. Maybe J-Hope will see it. He would appreciate all the love you guys are putting out to him and the guys. 💜🙂✌️
Can I just say that it warms my heart to see three strong, hard brothers SQUEALING like high school girls watching all the guys in general, but watching Hobi dance in particular. 😂😂👏🏼👏🏼 I mean, y’all GET it. A lot of Kpop fans don’t really get the street dancing side of it that Hobi does and works into their choreo whenever he can. 😆 But y’all GET it and APPRECIATE it, and it’s just a joy to watch! Keep on doin’ what you’re doin’. It’s much loved and appreciated by all of ARMY. 💜💜💜
@@WhatchaGot2Say Thats Cool. Sometimes I love to go back to those awesome vids. Thanks for responding much appreciated. Always look forward for your team reactions towards BTS.
J-HOOOOOPE! Happy birthday Hobi!! I’m not a dancer, so it’s pretty fun hearing you guys talk about J-Hope’s dancing techniques. Really helps me appreciate his skill as a dancer at a deeper level. Thank you guys, you nice keep going!
LIKED BEFORE PLAYING. also: lord how many comments are there gonna be on this vid about JK. yall, just look at the damn comment section before saying something 😩 it's been said.
J-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE💜💜💜💜 People who love J-hope are people who look deeply into the essence of the human mind not only like the outer covering. That means he is loved because of his inner and outer beauty.
I know absolutely nothing about dance or hip hop, but I love you guys obvious appreciating of his dancing and the nice teaching moments you throw in to enlighten your viewer about what's going on. ❤️
I watched this video (Jhope on the Street) before but I don't mind watching it over and over again with you guys because you pay attention to things I don't notice and you explain techniques that are not familiar to people who are like me. I paused and stopped the video several times like you do with the videos you react to because your reaction videos are so entertaining and so much fun to watch.
I have no idea why, but I always come back to watch this video. I love the combination of Hobi getting his groove on and then y'all freaking out over it. :')))
I’m bookmarking this for later bc I have to get ready for work, but I love you guys and I love Jhope! He’s my bias wrecker. That man is a menace!!! Our sunshine, he works so hard to do his best for army, and he is committed to his craft. A true artist who deserves the world!!! Happy birthday to an amazing man ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The excitement you have, the smile and happiness and everything stuns me every time I watch one of your videos. It is such a positive mood boost as well. - Am not 100% sure but think I read that J-Hope was part of an actual competing street-dance/performance team before he joined BigHit.
