My friend told me once same kind of incident. One of his relatives was in village. The next day or a few days later he needed a bakra for some durga ma temple and all, something its their village ritual they do sacrifices for local deities and gods and carry a fair once in a year... So they do sacrifice hens roosters and goats on that day. He wanted one goat for the same purpose and very surprising for him ge couldn't find anywhere any goat to purchase... He went to nearby areas and all, but he did not find anything... It was evening time about to get dark. He was coming back to his home in a kachha rasta by cycling and after a while just few feet away he could see a goat standing in his way. He saw all around there was no body, no cattle, no shepherd no one... He thought its a golden opportunity and he wanted to take that goat with him so he ran after it to catch it. That goat was running in a very high speed taking him far away from the road where he parked his cycle. It was around 20 minutes to this he was going into bushy areas... Then he stopped and realized, "how could it be that this goat appeared from nowhere and how can it run so fast that I can't catch it, its not the first time I am doing, I have some kind of experience with such animals, and he realized he was far away from the road and it was almost dark. Then he thought he better go back and take his cycle and head home. He quits chasing the goat and walks back and reaches the road. As he was getting on his cycle and begin to ride, he hears a female voice from that same place he cane back from, saying, "you are lucky that you stopped chasing. Your life is saved. It wont be the case always." He got chills through his spine. He was sweating very severely. He did not know how he will escape from that place as barely he could see anyone passing through that road particularly now when he is scared to death. He somehow started riding his bicycle as fast as he can until he finds a auto rikshaw somwhere at the main road and he leaves his cycle at shop nearby requesting them to take care of it and giving his phone number to them and takes that auto and reaches home. Auto rikshaw driver asked him even, you can reach by cycle its not that far, he replied "I am numb, my body is numb, I can hardly paddle." Looking at his condition the autorickshaw wala drops him home. By the time he reaches home, he was having severe fever and that fever did not go down until a pooja thread was tied on his wrist and his wife and priest took his nazar daily for one week. Then he was able to sit and narrate his experience to his family and friends. Until then that whole week he was very unwell. My friend said that he never went back to that place again, not even to take back his bicycle and when that shopkeeper near whose shop he parked his cycle called him, he asked him to keep the cycle or do whatever he wants...

Himachal is blessed by god's. But also by the devil's. I'm from kangra and here betal is seen till dates
