@@bernadette573 Good point. The CIA is organized crime, and if this is a frame as it looks like , it may well be the CIA that's behind it. They have framed people before. It has a long history of sordid and depraved conspiracies. It's behind most of the mass murders and serial killers (see Programmed to Kill by David McGowan, The Phoenix Project and The CIA as Organized Crime by Douglas Valentine). With the exponential increase in mass murders in the US, which was predicted by Russ Dizdar, if I were president, I would declare a state of emergency and dismantle the CIA using the Army n ban SSRIs, which would decrease such inhumanity by over 90%. The CIA agent in question is incoherent n irresponsible, saying it's a fact that he committed other murders. The FBI already did a search and found no connection to other murders. The police aren't Perry Mason or Nero Wolfe, so they won't think the evidence is too convenient n they won't smell a frame. It's a nothing burger.

Absolutely Peter! As a former journalist, stories like these go against the grain of what I was taught and the ethics and responsibilities of journalism. That this is happening on the Abrams media empire has me further concerned. Furthermore, we don't teach news literacy in our K-12 systems so ppl absorb things that may not be true, and either repeat it, or take actions on what they think they know. Thank you for taking the time to parse thru this "breaking story".

You are so right! I remember Woodward and Bernstien having the rule that Deep Throat had to be corroborated by two other sources or they didn't print the info. Frankly I believe it is lazy journalism to report speculation like this. They needed to fill a news slot and this case is hot right now. Look at how reporting on Vallow Daybell has dropped. IMHO that is maybe the worst case of the decade and now that trial is close we hear a lot less about it.

@@laurenmay2098 Well, Peter Tragos called the American legal system the best of the world in an earlier video. In my eyes that is hypocritical bullshit. He knows very well how the legal system works, he says, and he is part of that bad system himself. These are the facts: it's a big mess with little real trials (only 2% ever get one), a lot of theatrical drama, and 98% of the people who are accused never get a trial. Just a plea deal, because they can't pay for a good lawyer. Threatened they will get a worse outcome when they go to trial, they choose a deal while they often do not even know their real rights. After that deal, it's too late to do anything about it. When more people would want to get a trial the system wouldn't even be able to process them. It would become completely clogged. It's not only the media who make it a mess. It is the whole system. Making lawyers the big winners. It's a money making machine with little justice and without reliable outcomes. A RU-vid channel doesn't change that system one little bit. It's part of the same money making machine. With this video he does not make the media circus smaller, he only adds a video and click baits Oh, how I love the worshiping of the wrong heroes. /sarcasm/

I remember one “forensic file case” that was pointing to the son killing his mother. His story about what happened was bizarre, and not probable. Long story short, he was telling the truth. He gave a ride to a hitchhiker, then he tells the hitchhiker he was not going to go any further, to a dangerous area. The hitchhiker guy wanted him to take him by force, he took it a screwdriver from his truck pointed to the driver and said to him to do it. Oh, for some reason they went out side the truck. Them the driver was able to get inside his truck and flee. He drove around because he didn’t wanted the guy to see where he lives. When he got home, his mother was murdered, dead with a screwdriver. When he call the police, he explained everything, the police didn’t believe it. Of course not, it was his screwdriver, his alibi wasn’t good, his story could not be verified. He was arrested, I don’t remember how he was released, but the culprit did confess and told the police that he didn’t know that house was the drivers house. He picked the one where he could rob and sleep. The lady woke up, that’s why he killed her. Pure coincidence that he get to go right into the house of the driver who gave him the ride. This driver could be serving life right now if the culprit didn’t confessed. Sorry about the broken English.

I think the remarks about him having a history of having a problem with women comes from the reason given for him being fired for grading women harder than men. It was stated that he wasn't treated students fairly and that gender was the common denominator.

I love that you stand up for the justice system ❤ why is not illegal for reporting like this? He will not be able to get a fair trial probably anywhere in this country because of irresponsible reporting. I don’t care about him personally, but what we do as a society to one, impacts all of us. I can’t stand watching my rights, Our Rights going away.

Nice logic Peter. I appreciate you remind us the jury and the systems need to keep allegedly in mind. It leaves so quickly by nature, I have to repeat it and I still don't do it. I do think it's fine for an officer to speak with conviction about what the killer did, and what kind of person does that, even express personal belief in who did it. But I wish they would be more careful with their conflating of the killer and the suspect.

But he just took my license & went back to his car before I had a chance to ask anything. He came back to my car after a bit & gave me my license back & I was free to go. Never asked me any ques. It was so strange, I was just glad to leave so didn't ask anything at that point lol. I thought maybe they were looking for somebody that matched me/my car's description or smth 🤷‍♀️

Peter, I’ve watched tens of your videos and am a big fan. I feel like you sometimes don’t have the correct pulse on a jury’s opinion, although I think that will come with more experience. However, you do get the majority of things correct, and you are a gift to the public with your legal commentary. But THIS ⬆️ is your best video to date. Tracy Walder and NewsNation fumbled the ball with this reporting. Thank you for revealing mistakes in the news and promoting the law.

I, as your average everyday lay person, can talk amongst my friends or whomever and say I think he did it. She is ALLEGEDLY a professional and representing her profession and extended profession very poorly. She should know better and perhaps she does but she is blatantly, no questions asked, asserting BK is guilty. With her around, who needs the court system? She might as well deliver him to prison herself, like tomorrow. If she doesn't know any better, then she needs to take Justice System 101 and stop with interviews. She gives legit LE, investigators and prosecutors a severely tainted representation. I am not impressed. She may be very smart and proficient at applying her skills. However, she requires intense coaching regarding the information or opinions she imparts based on her experience and knowledge.

The more I watch true crime reporting, the more I value our system of innocent until proven guilty and protecting the rights of the accused as much as possible prior to trial. It’s the best way to protect the innocent and make sure that the guilty don’t get freed on some pre-trial misstep. I’m new to your channel and REALLY appreciate how you’ve handled the cases I’ve watched. If found guilty, these are some really heinous criminals. But if found innocent, they’ll need to go back out into society and try to put a life back together. You make room for that.
