Dr. Olamu is such a charismatic gentlemen. His passion is clearly worn on his sleeve. My botany teacher was also Nigerian, he reminds me so much of him. Great work doctor!

I watched the movie Concussion last night and have enjoyed it greatly. Salute to Dr. Omalu and thanks to Will Smith who plays the part so well. To me, a person who dares to speak the truth and have the guts to go all the way deserves the highest respect.....Totally not easy

I watched the premier today... and this movie touched me.... simply amazing and very very insightful God bless the numerous families who lost their sons, fathers and brothers to the harmful effects of CTE. I'm also proud of the work Dr. Omalu did to discover & expose this. soooo proud to be Nigerian

His pro career lasted 5 years. Thats it. Yet the damage sustained from playing in high school and college and NFL is permanent even 15 years after retiring.

Now we just need someone to do something similar for the cheerleaders. "A study ranked cheerleading 16th on a list of sports with the highest number of injuries. Another recent study found that cheerleading is the most dangerous sport for females because of the high risk for concussions and “catastrophic” injuries, which are classified as injuries that result in long-term medical conditions, permanent disabilities or a shorter lifespan." And they may not wear any protection...
