Can't patent it though. It's a simple speech recognition along with current management. Same kind you use in your houses. "Lights on" or "AC Off" something like this. But they can still sell it.

Someone needs to use something like this combined with laser tag to make the best game ever. People could wear vests with sensors and electric currents and their wands could shoot lasers when activated by voice. The lasers could be different colors to represent different spells.

Why don't create your own? This kind of system can be easily turned into its own game! Imagine airsoft but you only get affected where you got hit! Getting hit reduces your health points and zaps you a little, zero health points and you're completely paralyzed! Switch spells/weapons to give status effect to the opponents or yourself!

So I guess the next step would be to add some kind of accelerometer so you can do the wand motions that go along with the spells? I love the delay, it adds to the effect of being hit. There's a second where the target looks down at his/her gear to see if they're hit, it reminds me of avada kedavra, where there's a split second where the target is stunned and then the lights leave their eyes.

you should do an entire battle with this, like, Hogwarts students + ministry of magic vs Voldemort and his minion, and each side gets specific spells, depending on the role and stuff, and one person on each side is the major leader, like Dumbledore or Voldemort, and Voldemort's side has dark magic spells like the cruciatus curse, and the side with Hogwarts has expelliarmus and protego and stupefy, and yes the dark side would have dangerous spells, BUT, the good side would have more spells than the dark side maybe? after all, in the books and movies, people associated with Voldemort mainly use cruciatus curse and avada kedavra, while the side harry's on has a larger variety of spells such as the patronus spell, just an idea

I actually had to do that with "Stupefy", it's really hard for the speech recognition to distinguish between that and "stupify" so I just had either one trigger the spell. Protego didn't work at all when we were dueling, but it felt weird allowing "potato" to shoot the spell even though it was the most common misheard word.
