Dublin man Trevor Moore is given 10,000 euros to arrange his civil partnership to Alan Dunleavy. The pair met on a night out in the capital and hit it off, despite being complete opposites. Trevor is keen to make it a colourful and exuberant celebration, but perfectionist Alan has grand ideas about a five-star, sophisticated wedding. As the day nears, Trevor decides to play a few pranks on his partner - but risks taking it too far.

This is one of my favorite weddings yet! Alan was so gracious in accepting the very different wedding than he would have chosen. But his partner was very thoughtful in throwing him the best wedding in his own vision within the set budget. A stately manor home would never have been achievable on this budget. You can dream; but this wedding was sweet and sincere and you can tell they love each other SO MUCH. A level of perceivable love sometimes missing from some of the other episodes. It was really funny how he sent the taxi to mess with Alan before the proper wedding transport. 😂🥹

I think the purpose of the show is to allow two people who love each other to throw a wedding they wouldn’t have been able to afford otherwise and to allow them to show their love and trust for each other. Get over your discomfort with a different type of love than what you are used to and appreciate that in this world filled with so many bad things any love should be celebrated. Why do you need to pick away at a loving couple? What purpose does it serve other than to show your intolerance and small mindedness?
