Cork couple Gerard O'Dea and Ciara Murphy have been in a relationship for eight years and have three children together, but the bride-to-be is worried that her fiance will not take planning their wedding day seriously enough. Gerard is determined that the celebrations will be as much for him as they are for her, even if it means adding a touch of his work as a paramedic to the day. However, he also tries to pull off the surprise of his life by incorporating elements from her favourite film, Dirty Dancing.

I love the prison. I am an anti princess wedding person. And i hate the generic ballrooms (even inside historic places they seem all modern and bland). The reception venue perfect example of just like every where else. If I wasnt getting married in a beautiful historic church love my ceremony there. Other then the pranks he did good.

Her mother appears to be narcissistic, and wants to be a center of attention at her daughter's wedding, and make a statement all about her. Notice how the groom's mother meanwhile was thinking about the couple and their day, and taking care of the baby and other children. Total contrast between self-absorption and self-centeredness, and a loving person that thinks about others. I am sure the bride had to make it very clear to mom that there was NO way she was letting her mother dressed as a man, walk her down the aisle.

Yeah, sorry, her mom's look was way over the top. We get it. Would have been nice if she could have dressed like the mother of the bride in a pants suit that was not like a man's suit. The real grandmom and mom slaying it was the groom's mother taking care of the baby for the young couple. Dressing to stand out and make a statement at someone else's wedding, is not cool especially if you are the mother of the bride. I am sure most people at the wedding know what this woman is about and what her preferences are.

most people are not as small minded & judgemental as that and actually appreciate people being true to themselves, and not just dressing to please others, as long as she's not wearing white - no big deal, good on her! People who have issues with that need more hobbies & activities to busy themselves I think, less time to worry about what others do

Let's be fair, here. They weren't going to be a traditional couple. In a conservative place like Ireland, her mother's knuckle tattoos and hip-hop style says she had an extremely unconventional and possibly erratic childhood. Be glad for her that she married at all, and to a good man that was willing to take on a single mother. I personally would love to meet her mother. I don't drink, but I'd be willing to buy her a drink or five just to hear her story!
