Gk: Navas/Casilla/Yanez Rb: Carvajal/Danilo Cb: Pepe/Varane Cb: Ramos/Nacho Lb: Marcelo/Coentrao Cdm: Casemiro/Kovacic Cm: Kroos/James Cm: Modric/Isco Rw: Bale/Vazquez Lw: Cristiano/Asensio Cf: Benzema/Morata/Mariano Almost all of them in their prime... Morata, Asensio, Isco at their best... This team was so stacked, even their second team would beat many top teams that are around now
He trained with them. They saw his skills displayed live, so they knew he was worth his salt when he talked about what to do with the ball. Look up any video of Zidane training with the steam and you'll see he's still got the silky touch.
Only people who followed that season closely will remember the utter importance of marcelo's winner against Valencia at home ....one of the most crucial moments in the season
Shame he wasn't hard working enough. Look how things turned out for him at Sevilla. Same goes for James Rodriguez. The only difference between Benzema Ballon d'or and them is the dedication.
Just shows how difficult it is to maintain a deep squad for more than two seasons. This incredible team had Bale, Kovacic, Morata, James, Pepe, Asensio, Nacho, Vazquez on the bench. All of them were starters elsewhere.
11 goals and 5 assists that season for Benzema. A lot of fans were calling to sell him and buy Lewandowski that year. It wasn't his best goal scoring season but if true fans remember, his link up, and hold up play were crucial to our success that year. HALA PUTA MADRID!!!!!!!!!
Everything about the team was good Ronaldo's transition to a striker,Isco in his peak The legendary midfield trio Ramos being decisive and of course Marcelo on a calss of his own Navas was always good at that season. The season would've been inch perfect if we won that copa del rey title
@@blackadam6468 prime AC MIlan doesn't come close to this, they wud get destroyed every time, There is a reason this Madrid team is the only team that won the modern UCL format back to back to back, what Milan did was choke against CHOKERPOOP after leading by 3-0 nil. Milan is a CHOKING club, there is a reason Madrid has twice the number of UCLs Milan has!! I can tell you this that Milan's mentality is weak compared to Madrid and they aren't even a fan owned club like Madrid!!
I've had the honor to watch these guys play live at the Bernabeu back in 2017. What an amazing experience!. History has been written🏆🏆🏆. A better team will possibly never see the light.
Even as a Man utd fan, I have huge admiration for the Club Real Madrid and this 2017 team. No matter what happens, Real Madrid would always produce great squads and win great prizes like no other. I have huge respect for Real Madrid and I am glad that we sold CR7 to Real Madrid. #RESPECT
Strength in depth and great coaching (man management) was the reason for all the succes real madirid had 2016 to 2018... don't we all miss this team?? ❤❤
And the next season we had players like Hakimi , Theo Hernandez , Marcos Llorente....not only the main team was great but the back up team also had some great talents !!! Odegaard , Valverde all were on loans ....too much heat in one team....unreal!!! Hala Madrid!! 🤍⚔️
Every player turned out be star for Real Madrid from 2016-18 ,kudos to Zidane for Managing these players with stellar talent , sadly every good thing ends.
This is the year when we have the most character in the team..don't get me wrong..last season UCL and La Liga were magical as well..we defy the odds so many times..but it was pretty much relying on the same player to score the goals.. But this 2016-2017 team..even B team winning a game by 3-4 goal difference..dominance..yes that's the word.. I swear even all my friends that support all other clubs said they are afraid if they have to go against Real Madrid that year..
Watching this Madrid team & the current one makes me so sad 😢, u can clearly see that everyone in the team was a super world class player at their peaks, every department was over performing…. but I understand, cuz the team is still in transition now…
Bruh, Isco had a superior talent. Too bad he couldn't express himself as he could have. But yeah, that whole team was just incredible. Pepe was a defensive monster, Ramos was and will always be simply "El Gran Capitan", Marcelo is hands down one of the two best left back in all of history, and the other is the player he was bought to replace, Carvajal was the least recognized and most underrated player of that team, but he was incredibly good at snaking between the opponents' defense, Modric was a magician as he still is now and Kroos was literally a perfect player, Isco had technique like no one else, Asensio was the most talented young player of that time, Bale was a rocket that always scored amazing goals, Benzema was always ready to serve the others and score when needed, being the most talented striker in football history that he is, and Ronaldo is just Cristiano Ronaldo.
what Ronaldo did to Madrid is amazing.. he had lifted the spirit of every young players at Madrid.. it is cemented in every young players brain once they get in to Madrid now.. they are at the best club on Earth ever.. once you have this mindset.. you are unstoppable.. Ronaldo deserves a retirement at Madrid.. he deserves it.. 3 UCLs win.... Nobody and no team had ever done it..
We will never forget each one of these players. It's insane they got all of that in one team from the gk to the offensive, its understandable why they're the only ones ever to win 3 UCL in a raw. It was a pleasure to live each of those matches; specially because Navas is from my country and it was such a honor
Football can never be what it was What an experience, we enjoyed football for a long time 😮 Rich or poor, we the same when it comes to football Brings people of different ethnicity into friendships that lasts 😢 I miss football
I’ve been solid Madrid fan since 90s. The 90s team with suker and mijatovic was really good. The mid 2000s team was unstoppable with multiple undebatable stars such as zizou, r b’car’os, figo ronsldo etc. However the 2017 team was, in my strong result based opinion, the best team ever! They had best possible coach, best attacking players not to mention record breaking individual and group records being broken, best midfield duo/trio and absolute best defensive players along with unstoppable most reliant keeper. But what makes me see this as best Madrid team is that they had 2 COMPLETE teams. ALWAYS!
