It's the first time I've heard David Coleman's ecstatic commentary for Bill Foulkes's astonishing (and unlikely!) goal since i watched the match 'live' on TV as a boy all those years ago! The footage occasionally gets shown but never with the commentary. I'd always assumed it had been lost. So glad it hasn't. Truly classic Coleman!
You can see the reason why he was the Ballon d'or winner in 1968. The close control on the touch line to set up Bill Foulkes equaliser was simply sublime. George Best was a gift from the Gods. RIP Bobby Charlton.
