He is a kid and the fact that he is demonstrating confident play means nothing till he plays at least a couple of seasons. For now we don't know his real level. Upamecano also performed well as a kid and now... Nacho, on the other hand, is an experienced player who played a lot of important matches in different positions and looked well. So who is better right now is pretty obvious. I wouldn't compare Cubarsi to any experienced defender so far.
