GLID you should start streaming when you guys play through these. That way POV nerds like me can watch the comms and movement entirely from your POV and then see the cinematics and other POV's in these editted vids. Just a suggestion, I would love to tune into something like that

Fantastic editing! The only thing that could have helped me as a viewer would have been a map showing from time to time allowing me to understand what areas the team have already cleared and are currently in.

Showing a map is not cinematic it would totally destroy immersion. But I totally get your point I will need to add my briefs in again to show motion of flow on the map before hand.

I run a 3-man crew (I'm squad leader because I bought supporter edition and have the tacticool camo skin), and taking lessons from these videos has made us noticeably better than we were before. Of course we can't do as well as you guys, because your squad is a lot larger (and we're a bunch of untrained teenagers), but we often handle these pretty well, and a lot better now because of you guys.

I think there should be some sort of system in place that tells you how many known enemies are on site, but there are extras so you have to go back through the site and make sure it's 100% clear. Maybe also add a penalty if an enemy is still alive/unrestrained?

It would be cool if the characters were able to use hand signals and a shoulder squeeze when you stack up on doors. Don’t know how that would work but it would be cool for sure! I love seeing the multiple camera angles on your room clearing. Great squad!

I mostly like your mindset about these videos GLID, always pumps oneself up, it's a good mindset to have. I myself play very different genre, RTS, where there is great negativity in teams, you are a lodestar on how to keep group mindset positive. Helped me quite a bit.

This game has to develop a "leave no man behind" sort of mechanic that allows you to carry your downed teammate to safety or at least try to stabilize their condition when they are badly wounded. It's hard but it is not impossible to develop if they really want to commit to this realism type of FPS.

That would be awesome! And if they had tourniquets to keep your allies from bleeding out of they go down early in the mission. In turn it gives you 10 minutes to clear your objective and make it back to your squad mate for evac. Then like you said you have to carry him out!

I'm really curious if someone could explain the tactical reason that in the very beginning of the mission Glid fired his rifle exactly in sync with the flashbang detonation -- my assumption is to mask the explosion but the enemy still hears a gunshot that they know isn't from one of theirs so that wouldn't be helpful for stealth right?

suggestion for the cameraman, focus on telling the story of each room being cleared with each room being treated as an episode of sorts? Or even better if you know ahead of time there isnt a threat, u can do those cinematic shots. Example: 1. "Establish situation" > they approach a room (establishing cinematic shot educating/placing in the scene viewer eg: a top down view) 2. "Tension building" > BLU team stacks up and discusses solutions ( this time cinematic shot implying/showing the threat OPFOR/establishing the room they are about to clear) 3. "Climax" execute (first person view or visually clear angle of them blasting bad guys as they enter) 4. rinse repeat with variations of cinematic shots (like the nice ones being done now) when there are no tangos in the room. this is just a bit of some structure to add narrative/emotional variation for that overall cinematic experience i think you guys are hoping to achieve anyways. I understand my idea may need coordination with the GLID fighting squad and that needs to be edited out maybe (potentially not so authentic)..anyhoo great vid!

It's a kinetic operational environment we would scream and put your weapon down and show hands. If we don't see hands and we see a weapon pointing toward us we will shoot to kill.
