Thank you so much Karen for making this very informative video. I’ve been waiting for this since I love citrine and you are the only one I trust in identifying genuine crystals
Heat treated amethyst is not “fake citrine.” Amethyst and Citrine are identical (the exact same chemical composition and physical properties), however “natural” citrine emerges from amethyst being heat treated by geothermal activity, whereas the alternate form of citrine is from manually baked amethyst. Either way, it is heated amethyst. The more you know! 🌠
Thank you so much for sharing this ♥️ How about clear yellow phantom citrine with inclusions, are they real citrine? I hope you could make a video between real and fake burmese jadeite ☺️
Thank you, Karen. I have a 'citrine' tower about 1in X 3 in. It fell from the top of a 15 foot tall post onto concrete and not a single scratch! Could I safely assume it is the genuine article?
Hi Karen, I'm enjoying your videos as I'm new to your channel❤I'm kindly requesting for you to do a tutorial on how to prepare and tie knots on 2 and 3 strand stretchy bracelets🙏I've only seen you work with 4 strands, which your technique worked beautifully❤ I would love to master this technique with my 5 & 6mm beads. Thank you for your inspiration❤🌞🌠🪷
At 2:51 you show a specimen that I think you say is natural citrine. Is the colour natural too or has it been heat treated. I’m asking because I’ve just bought three that are natural looking but have more orange colour than normal pale yellow natural citrine. Now I’m wondering if it’s been heat treated.
Thank u Karen, this is really informative. How about smelting quartz, do u have a video on differentiating natural clear quartz with smelting quartz? It’s quite hard to know the differences because they almost the same..
Hi everyone, I'm Karen. The real and fake citrine video is finally finished, and it took a lot of time to prepare. I hope this video will be helpful to everyone, so as to have a deeper understanding of Citrine. Enjoy it! So how about the GREEN citrine? I have a large citrine sphere but its green, and not translucent but with beautiful rings in shades of green color. Are those heat treated Amythest? Why is it called citrine when its green?
PIYAO ABUNDANCE PROTECTION JADE BRACELET green with dragon bracelet , would like to know which arm would I put it on left or right and is it for bring in money ?also the beautiful bracelet, Feng Shui Black Obsidian Wealth bracelet Left or right hand and can I wear these two together?
Hello Karen, after watching your video I would like to purchase real citrine. where can I get it? or are you a online store you can guarantee real citrine for me? I got something from Amazon for 6 dollars 3 pieces but I guess as you said most likely heated. I only need a small piece to carry with me in my pocket. no need to be wearable bracelet. please let me know, how where or you are selling.
Thank you for this information. It definitely helps. My question is if the crystals are heat treated amethyst do they still have the spiritual properties of citrine or do they have the spiritual properties of amethyst? I get my crystals for the specific properties that each one is supposed to have. It seems pretty dishonest to me. I love amethyst but now I seem to have a crap ton of amethyst and not a single piece of real citrine. I feel like I was lied to!
Hi, natural citrine is heated by the nature. Heated citrine is heated by human/machine. So if you are going for the healing benefit, heated amethyst is not as good because it is originally amethyst.
What about quartz crystals that have a rainbow hue on them...are these natural in mists crystals? Also rubies and garnets that have a starlight effect, are those natural or just enhanced to be sold at a higher price?
Hi, thank you for your message. If the rainbow hue is in a super clear quartz, then it’s also treated. Cuz natural rainbow in crystal should be not too clear. Starlight garnet is real, and should not be very high price. For ruby, some are made with glass here, some are treated, better get a certificate. 😀
Is there anyone that can confirm my comment? I do want to buy a citrine beads, but what's available in my country has a cracked in it, some even wrote it as a cracked citrine grade AAA, is that a real stone? Because what I see in the video here there's no cracked in the beads I am so scared to buy a citrine now 😭
