I was in Oregon several months ago broke down at service center parking lot waiting on parts to come in. I Got a call and my twin brother had passed away. My wife can't drive out 40' class motorhome. We have been on the road for about 1 year. We did not know if more parts would be needed. I did not go home ( Alabama) . Now their are family members that want even talk to me today. Like you said we will be together some day soon. I pray that they will find it to forgive me one day.
We’ve had to put our plans to start traveling as full time RVers to help take care of my father-in-law while he undergoes chemo for lymphoma. Hopefully by December when it turns cold we can head either south or west.

My condolences for the loss of your grandmother. So many times I've said if I could have one more moment with my grandparents. I was 14 when my grandfather died and 25 when my grandmother died. I'm now 53. You were so fortunate to have her for as long as you did. May she rest in heavenly peace.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your beloved Grandma. May her passing be a blessing for she’s no longer suffering and back to her much younger self mentally and physically. I have had two death experiences when battling cancer and to see what lies beyond is the greatest gift of my life. It’s the most beautiful place anyone can imagine. I was told that I had to return as my mission was not complete. I often share my experience with people who are frightened by death but no one ever dies we just go on living in a paradise or heaven whatever your belief. Remember the love and joy you shared and feel blessed 🙏🏻🕊️💫
I am so very sorry for your loss, but take comfort knowing she is in a better place now. Having lost both of my parents in the past 8 years, knowing they are now in a better place gives me great comfort and I hope that knowledge gives you comfort as well.
Thank you, Lora! We have HUGE comfort knowing that we will see her again in heaven! We are sorry to hear about the loss of your parents! Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
I feel for you. My granny died in my arms. I tried giving her resucitation but her heartbeat faded and she was gone. I had just got out of the Army and was the only one present who knew first aid. I was close to her and she was good to me growing up. Memories like that don't just fade away.
Thank you so much for your condolences! We are sorry to hear about the passing of your granny! Memories are so powerful and we are so thankful that we still have them! Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
AB Roadrunners Mathew and Shion. We had to do the same thing last Spring. We were in Yuma having to go to Cleveland, Ohio. We made it a long, hard drive. We are glad you got to see Granny before she passed. It's hard, but she is watching over you, and you can talk to her anytime. I just watched your video and cried for you. Take care hope to see you down the road
We are sorry to hear that you had to make a similar journey. Glad to hear that y'all made it! Thank you so much for the kind words and thanks for watching too! ~ Shion and Matthew
Thank you for your kind words! We are sorry to hear that you had a stroke and our praying for complete healing for you. We also pray that you are able to have some community in your life, so you do not have to be alone. Nobody should have to feel like they are alone. I tell my husband often that God didn't miss a thing when He saw fit to bless us with each other, & clearly the same applies to the two of you. Life~ & all of it's blessings & sorrows~ is so different when it's shared within a strong, loving marriage. My heart swelled with joy listening & watching you both... through my own tears~ my goodness for the heartstrings this fine day~ whew! We feel honored that you all chose to document this experience & to share it with us. Continued prayers for your mending family, and may your efforts also continue to be blessed~ in Jesus' precious name I ask, Amen.
We met you guys at the GD rally, in Quartzsite. The GD family is great! Happy to hear you are boondocking more. It’s is so much better. RV parks have their place and needs. A place to go to get laundry done, grab supplies, dump and flush tanks, and just relax, and get caught up. Last year we had to change our travel plans. My spouse’s sister had cancer, and wasn’t expected to see Halloween. Well, she lasted till the week before thanksgiving. We came home to be with the family, til she passed. She wanted to have her family close. Luckily we knew she was sick so we were able to stay at the family farm. Then I go and break the radius completely from my wrist, and had to have surgery. We didn’t get out of the Pacific Northwest, till Dec. Then we had to beat feet over the Siskiyous, before the snow caught up with us. Once we hit Manteca, we knew we were safe. May Gods perpetual light shine upon your grandma. 🙏🙏🕯🕯🕯
Hey Tracy! We will always remember the Quartzsite Grand Design rally! We had so much fun even with the bad weather! We are so sorry to hear about your sister-in-law's passing. Glad that y'all were able to be there with her during her final days. We are also sorry to hear about your radius! That must have been really painful! Hoping it is healing well! We love boondocking and hope we get to see y'all again! We love our Grand Design family! Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
Prayers for your comfort and peace. Its never easy to lose loved ones or see them suffer. I'm totally with y'all about enjoying boondocking, and being close to nature. God's majesty just makes its presence known when you do. Prayers and love for your safe travels.
Thank you so much, Shelley! We really appreciate the prayers! We hope to get back to boondocking soon as we really love it! Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
So happy that you made it in time to say your goodbyes. And I’ve been hit by that smell in Amarillo! When the wind shifts, you’re in for an unpleasant surprise
We are so thankful that we made it back in time too! It was not a nice smell at all, especially so early in the morning! LOL 😂Thank you for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew

I had a brother who loved to do exactly what you guys are doing, enjoying the great outdoors! He is deceased now but a lot of times he would go by himself if nobody would go with him. His favorite place to camp out was The Osceola National Forest in Florida. I am sorry for the loss of your grandmother. Best wishes to you guys!
We are so sorry to hear about your brother's passing. Thank you for sharing a little bit about him with us! We would love to check out the Osceola National Forest sometime! Thank you for your condolences and thanks for watching too! ~ Shion and Matthew
When we travel we have a basket that we store all of are tire minder, walk-in talkies, charging cords, flash lights, etc. in . We just leave it on the side table and when we travel we just move the basket to the truck for traveling. Prayers for you and your family.
It’s those left behind that feel loss! Those departed are rejoicing with the angels Praise God ! Granny is not lost! She will be waiting on her loved ones to welcome them to Heaven !
I know you are glad you made it back in time. I understand, my mother passed a couple yrs ago after my wife and I took care of her in her home. She left with a smile. God Bless you.
I just came across your video, and I had to say how sorry I am for your loss! When I lost my first husband in 1998, I had been praying for his healing along with a whole lot of other people. I just knew the Lord was going to heal him, and not just because of the experimental chemotherapy they were giving him. I felt that the chemotherapy then would help so many more people. But that didn’t happen! Later, I got to thinking how he is healed, just not here on earth. He was only 52 years old! And I still miss him today! Then in 2021, I lost my 2nd husband to cancer, he was 87, and had lived a good life. I still miss him also! Now they are both my guardian angels in heaven along with my parents. Whenever I get to travel out of town, I always say a prayer to my Heavenly Father, to dispatch my guardian angels to protect me. Then I say, come on Mother, Daddy, and go down my list of angels! They are always with me! God bless ya’ll and Happy Trails to You!
Thank you so much, Nan! We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your 2 husbands! We can only imagine how difficult that must have been! We will keep you in our prayers! Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew

If I die with so much love, I will have died well, and if there is others with me that get to take me home they will be blessed to get to be a part of it. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special time
Manure is a smell some love and some hate. The high school in Hudson NH has a dairy barn right next to it. Our town is used to the smell of healthy cows!
I usually get jealous over the bigger beautiful rigs, you won my heart, and very good guidance for any size, lol, or contraption. I have to look up your channel to see ,hear about the solar. Thank you for sharing. ( Getting jealous to me means if I want it, I need to be on my knees, as it's all by grace,) Amen, you blessed me.
I'm so sorry about the loss of your beloved Granny!😢 I hope it brings you peace to know where she is now... in the arms of Jesus & may it bring you comfort that you got to see her before she passed & you're right. I’m so sorry for your loss. Losing family is hard but be reassured that you will see each other again. My brother past January 18 very suddenly at 61. We grieve his passing but we know he and your granny are present with our father. It doesn’t stop the grieving his loss but assured one day we will be all together again. If you ever want to listen to a song it gave me lots of comfort “Dancing in the sky”! If you put the title in you tube the song will pop up

So very sorry. It's good that ya'll made it back in time to get those last valuable moments. I'm sure that gave everyone great comfort. Take care - God bless.
AB Roadrunners, you had said how bad the roads I40 was. The highway dept put out they were working on repairing parts of I40, I17, State Route 260, I10. As bad as some roads, we should have lost weight. As long as we have lived in Arizona, we have never seen this bad. Safe travels

This really hit home for me. Since we follow you on Facebook and remembering your posts and updates, and now watching this video. It really brings it to life. Those 800 mile day travels are tough. This video pulled on the heart strings. You shared how life really is. I’m really glad we got to meet up before y’all left town. Hopefully we can meet up again sometime. Safe travels my friends.

Our hearts ache for you! We are glad that you were able to get there on time and spend some precious time with her. We know that she's been healed. This hit us pretty hard too. My wife's mom recently passed and because of some logistical issues we were not able to be with her when she left to go home. Our deepest sympathies are with you as well as our prayers for peace.
Hey David! We are so sorry to hear about your wife's mom's passing. Sorry that y'all were not able to make it back to her! We know how painful that must have been to go through! We will keep y'all in our prayers too! Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
Sorry for your loss❤ TY for bringing us along with you. I bought my 5th wheel just months before my mom passed last year. If not for my RV I wouldn’t have been able to be here for my dad in this way. Coincidence but I also stayed at Oasis this past winter. No smells. It was a good overnighter for me. NM and AZ really need to do some road repair.. They are the worst. Again, sorry for your loss
Thank you so much! We are sorry to hear about your mom passing! Glad that you are able to be there for your dad! We really liked the Oasis RV park from what we could tell in the dark. Our friends did not have a smell either. The wind must have been blowing just the right way when we were there. Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
She had the best healing, we are just here for a finite amount of time and then we can meet again in Heaven. It's been hard to lose so many of my family, but it is so good to know this is not the end. Praise the Lord that we can have everlasting life through Him. Keep looking forward in your journey as the destination is Heaven, but don't forget to look around you so that you don't miss the beauty that He gave us.
Thank you so much, Jean! We appreciate your kind words! It brings us GREAT comfort knowing that we will see her again in Heaven! Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew

Wow, that is crazy that the roads were bad for so long. We have not been through Oklahoma yet but we will keep that in mind when we do! Thanks for the prayers and thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
I've had a lot of zero-g hoses. But the last one I bought was an Aqua-Joe from Walmart and i've been using it now non stop for over a year and a half with zero leaks.
After we went through our 2 zero-G hoses we also bought an Aqua Joe and it never leaked either but we did wind up replacing it after a year because it had Algae build up and we wound up getting a flexible blue Camco drinking hose. Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
Hey there guys , so sorry to hear about ur granny, but I will say u are so blessed to have ur granny as long as u did . ❤️💫🙏 Sending u and ur family loads of love n strength 💫

Thank you so much for sharing this very personal journey with us. There's things we can never prepare for and seeing you handle this shows us not only how, but that we can deal with such things. Blessings to you and my deepest sympathies.
Thank you for your condolences! We have been through Crystal Springs several times! We did make it home in time to say our goodbyes and are so thankful we did! Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew
So sorry for your loss Shion! Praying for you all. Hold tight to the promise of our Lord and Savior that you WILL see her again one day. We were up in WV when we got the call about my dad and traveled all night to get home to him. We had a flat in Nashville Tn. We were safe and off the road but the flat happened at 3:30 and we had to wait for TDot to come on to work at 6:00 to help change the tire. We got there in time but it was VERY upsetting for me not knowing how long I had.
Thank you so much, Jennifer! It brings us HUGE comfort knowing that because of our Savior Jesus that we will see her again! We are so sorry that y'all had to go through that experience trying to get to your dad! We can only imagine how hard that must have been! We are glad that you made it to him! Thank you for the prayers and thanks for watching too! ~ Shion and Matthew
