I guess it depends on the people. In my Tokyo Sharehouse the Japanese people were isolated aswell. We were like 35 ppl which 10 of were international. I had no problem talking with all the internationals. However only 1 Japanese person really wanted to talk to us. (Yeah we were all starting learning japanese and our level was really bad). However when I moved to Osaka, the share house (resident) was bigger (around 100) and more japanese people were living there (around 75). They were much more open to talk to you and even accepted my poor japanese skills. Maybe its also because people in Tokyo are more isolated.

Shes really pretty! Yea she seems like an extrovert. As an introvert these extroverts sometimes irritate us, but we need them, and their positivity.

I lived in a brand new share house in Saitama City for six months. I.got lucky to live in this house absolutely alone the entire time.

Seeing people say these aren’t cons, but I swear had friends who said same stuff and then complain that they can’t make any new friends and dislike their living situation. From experience it’s way better to have open communication and at least know your neighbors names.
