Great tip on the awning Brenna. It’s just enough shade and protection from sun, wind and rain but holds up with heavier wind. I will certainly implement this hack. Just had to add Abby is living her best life.

Brenna, i made a short double loop extension. Hold the edge of the corner of the awning and slide the loop over. You have a loop at the other end. Now with like a short guide rope. Put your tent peg in. Clip it into the loop and pull tightly. If rain unclip. Roll up but leave your guide rope out. Then sun all you have to do is reclip and pull tight. Why double looped end. You not clipping into the eyelet. But pulling on the material and not pulling eyelet out.

Totally agree, I can't be bothered putting my awning up anymore either.

My son went through a lighting of matches phase which terrified me. So I took him to the old fire station in Murray street, and they did a great thing with both of us, not saying "don't", but letting us know the main reasons (in order) for house fires in WA-irons left on, candles left burning, kitchen curtains near the toaster or stove, clothes dryer filters uncleared, sparks from open fire-places, and littlies experimenting with matches. Who'd have thought I would be more of a danger than him? Extra windy due on christmas day, but the Southern Ocean is very beautiful. Fishers also leave fish-hooks and lures behind, so a great decision to protect Abby from their lazy ways.

Pro tip to stop your dog from spreading the dry food all over the place is to put half a cup of water into the bowl of dry food. It also helps them stay hydrated.

I now have a chihuahua x papillon and he sleeps next to my head on a towel with a pillow or a blanket over him, and a kelpie girl who is always trying to get under the blanket with me. One little thing I picked up and added to my own sketchbook: DATES!! Probably seems like a no-brainer but I hadn't thought of it and I know I will appreciate it down the road! I am a mountain-forest person but WOW that beach and the water is beautiful and so much fun watching Abby enjoy it! More light ... I am at 48 North and right now until Thursday ... a bit over 8 hours of daylight and THAT is a very southern arc so long dawn and dusk. On one hand I enjoy and on the other ... I am ready to be in my jammies by 4:00 p.m. Art (and a ring light) is saving me :) . I am using a ring light over my little art table for evening art sessions. LOVE it!. Hope the new mic arrives soon and works well for you!

That idea with the awning attached with bunjee cords is awesome Brenna, I have a fancy schmancy Fiamma I never use because of the wind and that's what I'm going to attach the privacy screen to while the Fiamma is rolled away still in its cassette form, some people will be horrified 😂 I don't care! One of our old cats has always used her paw to delicately pick up each piece of dry food to eat it . Haha and she grabs each piece of anything else , a strip of chicken , piece of meat then place it on the floor before eating it. It's like she distrusts the bowls. Haha. A 34% percenter here (hoping that a few more get to the end)! I really liked this video as I'm just starting out on my RV journey (and headed west fm Victoria next year). I immediately went out and put more pegs in my van - didn't have enough for the sheets and towels as I usually do the big stuff at a friends house or back at home. I really like the reference on the case to the size of each nib……or did you do that?.I’m glad you moved to that lovely green grassy spot. You are in the right place at the moment….we are coping with the flood aftermath of Jasper and the south has shocking storms and some of the other states are in a grip of a heatwave…….so WA seems to be the place to be. Hi Brenna... i love your videos and always watch til the end... go us 33%ers 😊 hopefully the % increases. Abby is just like my Max he always sleeps under the covers and has to be touching me whether its a little foot or his whole back against me. He also does the kibble spreading before eating it all. Sometimes he eats pieces from the bowl but also spreads it on the floor. Only the kibble not his chicken and veg I cook up for him... that never lasts long haha. I love how excited Abby gets at the beach she is adorable. See you on the next one 😊

Here in Ontario, we're heading into the bleak midwinter (you know what that's like!) so my eyes just popped when you went to the beach...wow! The colours! I love you can so easily wash them out, as needed. I have a muzzle for my dog to stop him eating poisonous stuff when camping. Dog baits terrify me. My whippet also loves burying under a blanket.

That seems like a nice park, with all the amenities that you need. Was that snow on the ground? Probably not, as you're in summer there. It's been a warm winter, so far here. Ollie would be the same at the beach! She loves eating all sorts of random crap (or actual crap!!) off the ground, and it only took that one time of her waking me several times during the night while out camping to go and have terrible diarrhoea, that made me decide she was better off staying on her lead. I’m thankful it was only diarrhoea for one night and nothing that made her _really_ unwell!

Hey Brenna, what type of side wall are you using? I always use my kings one in the sail track of my awning, but I never liked that you have to have the awning unzipped and un tied to use the sail track, especially when it's raining and I then have to dry an awning I wasn't even using
