Glad you're experiencing this, Ken. I've ridden the Alaska Highway, end to end, twice. Once on a Suzuki Bandit 1250, and again on a V-Strom 1000. The Strom took me all the way to Prudhoe Bay on the Dalton Highway. I'm thinking about doing that ride again. Once, or even twice up there is not enough.

You probably have a ton of ideas for designing a wrap for that rig. Be cool if you had time to show us the process and maybe even let the viewers choose from a few choices which wrap goes on the rig.

I Just moved back to MA from AK. I’ve made the drive twice pulling my camper. It’s a beautiful ride. Most of the bad sections of the Alcan are between Whitehorse and Tok, AK. Trust me It gets much busier once you get into Alberta, especially around Edmonton and Calgary. Congrats on the new rig.

Been up to AK 3x in the Army; my dad put up a VT license plate at the Watson lake signpost forest in Nov 70, and I did too in Mar 01; Ft St John has an MX track visible from the road. my dad just died and I'm going through the old photos so coincidental is your trip at this time

You can cut the humidity with a knife down here right now, might be better for you and your tires to take an extra week. Our stepfather would take us out to Montana half a dozen times as kids, hit up Sturgis, Mount Rushmore Old Faithful, glacier national park, pipe stone, devil's tower, little bit of Canada, Hoover damn, even visited sequoia's in Cali, 4 corners, Cadillac ranch, the big hole, etc, on the way way out to his little piece of land in Roundup, 40 miles north of Billings, one road we used to take was dirt and stone. Some weird shit for us city slickers. He always wanted to trip out to Alaska, ran out of time and credit, all us kids grew up and got tied down to cubicle hell. Pretty cool to see you pulling it off.
