How do you teach repentance in your home? Does it foster feelings of peace and joy or shame? What did Jesus suffer for when He died for us?
Scott Sorensen and Ganely-Lyn Condie encourage you today to teach repentance in a joyful manner. Repentance is about renewal and rejoicing, and surrounding it in shame is harmful and doesn’t bring someone closer to Christ. They want you to remember that repentance is not just for sins. Jesus suffered for our pains, afflictions, temptations, sicknesses, death, and infirmities (Alma 7:11).
