I am a CIS gendered man of colour and I commend the show for putting a spotlight on this issue. It is totally unacceptable the amount of hatred that our LGBTI brothers and sisters face. We need to stop the discrimination, it needs to end immediately. We are all different and we should embrace that difference, that beauty that we all possess. Much love and support to all LGBTI people the world over, keep on being you, keep on loving yourself and keep on being beautiful!!
Such an eye opening conversation Anele, thank you. My view/opinion is that if you don't understand or agree with something , RESPECT IT. Respecting someone/something even thou you don't agree with it will not harm or affect you. Why are we carrying around this massive load of hate ? it's too much work people. Let it go people, let unnecessary baggage go. You cannot change a person and you should know that you can't unless they want that change. Let people be, let's respect each other please.
It took me a lifetime to come to terms with knowing I was not gay. Even though I partook in the community, I still felt unfulfilled- even neglected by masculine gay men because of my femininity. Now that I understand the separation between sexuality and gender, I know I am more compatible with a heterosexual male overall. Thank you for sharing this conversation. Peace and love.
