I've been doing this for decades. Put a bicycle track pump in your car trunk and leave it there permanently, you'll need it. This car's tire size is 195/60R15. How long does it take to inflate a flat 15" car tire with a standard bicycle floor pump? It takes about 4 minutes or around 230 pumps. A bike pump is a type of positive displacement air pump specifically designed for inflating bicycle tires. It has a connection or adapter for use with one or both of the two most common types of valves used on bicycles, Schrader or Presta. Floor pumps.

This is a really good demonstration, plus if all it has to do is let you carefully get a few miles from your driveway or garage where it went flat to a gas station's compressor or the tire shop, you don't need to go all the way to 30+ by hand.

3 mins 26 seconds for an average tire size is great considering most of the electric 12V vehicle rated air pumps take between 7 - 10 mins to fill to 35psi. they seem to be less reliable and they can cost more too than just a regular manual bike air pump. I will now be keeping one of these manual air pumps in my car from now on, great idea!

@@farkoffcnt The cheapass reduction gear type, yours is direct drive given it take 1.5 mins to pump 165/75-13 tyre

@@farkoffcnt I have a air compressor that plugs into my cigarette lighter. Used it for about a year but the hose broke on it. Husky brand from Home Depot. Was amazing while it lasted but nice to know that human power works as well.

Make it around 20+ psi.. Drive at a very safe speed... Go nearby station... But this is a great workout.. And your stamina is 🔥🔥🔥

Wow Your video inspire me,but i have question about this,in long term use floor pump for inflate tubeless car tire, is that not damage the floor pump?and is the gauge in the floor pump is still accurate when use for tubeless car tyre?i already asking with floor pump manufacture through email.they say only for bicycle use maximum for motorcycle use .not car.also they say the gauge not accurate if use for motorcycle or car.that make me doubt to buy floor pump.

iam a construction worker I always have a spear battery in the back of my truck ..I recently bought the battery powered pump that takes my batteries for my tools...that mini air pump literally pays for itself ...any pumps are a good investment cause it literally pays off itself..I bought the battery powered pump for 40 plus tax but boy I already pumped more than 40 times for sure

UPDATE my that's a workout! I know I'm not as young as I used to be but man that was tough. Better incentive to get the rim leak fixed. My bicycle tyres are 700c thin things. They go to 85 psi and its no where near as much effort. Strange how that works.

What's the best bicycle air pumps with a air pressure gauge that can pump up a car tire very fast. Maybe some air pumps will pump it up faster i don't know so I'm asking. So I'm keeping two of the best bicycle pumps in my car ???

The bigger the tube, the faster the pump. The smaller, the higher pressure. For cars, which use very low pressures, big tubes are ideal, but for performance bikes with high pressure tires, you often need a smaller pump to fill them.

I'm trying this right now and it seems like I'm getting alot more resistance than you when I push the plunger down and it's taking me alot longer. Maybe I put it on wrong? Anyone got an answer for me?

I'm using a old very cheap Schwinn pump & it just did wonders fast, so came here to see what others think, i couldnt believe i pumped up a 235/70/16 tire so fast & easy.

YAOYU LEE yes it works perfect, ive just tryed it on my 20€ pump, i inflated wheel from 5psi to 30psi had it done in under 2 minutes, and the gage on my pump was accurate and all, its the way forward,

@Greensky438 If i was cosplaying Dig Dug, i'd use a bike pump on your tires and entertain ya with a tongue trick show. I'd say each tongue trick would get 10 pumps. Show off the size of it. Twist both ways twisting my tongue with each pump. Clover. Roll up tongue. Tongue wave. Make into bowl. Inflate my tongue like a balloon.
