I went 5 months without anything on my nails, I was using beauty guard which was garbage. I went back to doing my nails and in two weeks they grew more than in the 5 months I was using that product. I’m so glad I’m back to dipping lol
Love it! I would be kicking myself in the butt for using peel base, LOL! I also love your chatty, realtime videos 😊 Suggestion: I find that the pointed end of a glass cuticle pusher is perfect for cleaning up around my cuticles.

I use peel off base coat for easy removal. Because i wear polish so often, my nails are more porous and even with UNT peel off base coat, my mani can last a week before I pop them off myself.
Ughhhh I hate filing too and don't get me started on shaping. I have so much trouble with shaping that I have gone to full cover nails when I do mine. I love your videos and recommend them to everyone starting dip.
Great job Marla! You still know how to dip as great as always haha! Wondering if you’ve ever tried the willow nail soak off bowl from Amazon since you mentioned that you use heat to speed up the removal process and keep your nails in acetone as little as possible. Just curious!

Marla - I need your help. I should already know the answer to these questions but I wouldn't be asking if I did lol. When using a gel top coat after using dip liquid process...I know you don't use the activator for the 2nd time after filing and buffing. But after filing and buffing the nail is then smooth and what not. So how does the gel top coat stick and not peel off? Really I'm just curious bc I thought gel had to have a rough surface to adhere to. Second, if I did not use a gel top coat in this process of your video and I did a dip liquid top coat ...what would that process be after applying these nail stickers? Step 1, then dip into clear dip powder and activate from there?
Totally valid questions!! Remember, I don’t go for longevity. My manis only last a day. So I don’t feel the need to prep for gel top BUT if I did, I’d for sure use a gel base coat first to prevent the top from peeling. So if you wanted to use dip liquids, you can activate right over the stickers and then go in with your dip top. OR, you can apply dip base and encapsulate in clear first. Whatever mood you’re in!

Hi. I honestly just started dipping my own using Kiara polish sets and Opi dipping, using clear but of course it was a little messy and cuticles don’t look as good as yours, I’ll say a little bulky from outer parts. Now how soon can I removed and do all over again? Definitely need to try your method and see your removal video . Ty in advance
