I've filmed it so often but here again
Clean the prefilter on the Oase BioMaster Thermo 600, in real time in around 1:52 minutes, including vent.
To make this even easier, I recommend a double valve on the filter outlet.
So you can let the air out of the filter at the end and the filter starts immediately after switching on.

Hello Looking at the connector on the hose, the question is whether you used a reduction from 16/22 to 12/16 for a given filter?

Is the eheim hose tap on the outlet or inlet? Ie are you doing a backwash at the end or just filling the canister?

Where did you get the double valve quick disconnect? I'm based in the US and can't find them anywhere. I may not be searching using the correct terms.

@@OliverKnott_aquascaper the heater is necessary if the room temperature does not fall below 22 in winter. I can buy the non thermo version much cheaper.

Hello Oliver, great video. Short question, do you have any noise issues, as in “Burping” of air. I am planning to buy a oase bio master 600, but read about it being loud. And as my tank will be in te living room, that might be a issue. Thanks for your help!

The burping is gone with the latest version. If you are unsure just buy silicone spray and spray that around the Sealings of any removable component. So filter head, heater and pre filter.
