I just got three notebooks organized, did my rune studies, made my wishlist for shopping at the crystal show this weekend, balanced my checkbook and paid my bills, wrote up in my Naturalist's Journal, did 4 pages of rune writing, read three chapters and highlighted in Norse Mythology, wrote out my husband's anniversary card, and more. And I graduated from college decades ago! Your real time study videos are helpful and inspiring to all, since we are always learning something! Keep them coming!

I always giggled at the fact that people would sit watching Jade study for 2 hours like whyyy would you do that, but with a lack of motivation today I decided to give it a go and holy moly its helpful! The background noise helped me stay focused and whenever I started daydreaming like i usually do i just saw you staying focused and it really helped even though I took a half hour break about an hour in. Will definitely be using these to revise again :))

omg! when you were like "we've been going for an hour and 8 minutes" i was shook. normally I used a pomodoro timer so I go 35 minutes with 5 minute breaks but holy guacamole I just pounded through 1 hour so fast

I love the idea of blurting info, then looking at flashcards, then doing questions and looking at marking schemes etc. I think I'm going to try this method! Brill Video and great tips!!

This was so helpful! I also appreciate you not having ads all through the video because thats what I struggle with with a lot of other study with me videos! I LOVE THIS TYPE OF VIDEOS JADE! Anyone could thing, wow this is so boring but the truth is.. I tell myself like, well Jade is going to study, I might have to as well, and then I sometimes feel the need to get a break, I look up to the screen and I see you there studying and I think, I mightas well keep going a bit more! And also, I feel as if I was studying with a friend. If you're reading this i hope you know that motivation is a very transient feeling. The fact of the matter is, no one feels motivated every single day 24/7. Whats important is building your discipline, so whenever you don't feel like doing something necessary you still do it regardless of what you'd rather be doing instead. Don't feel bad for not wanting to be productive and just do it instead.

I just got to the break, this was so helpful and stopped me from getting distracted. I usually like to watch a tv show on my phone while revising but I always get too wrapped up in that rather than the revision. This video allowed me to have something in the background that actually inspired me to continue. Once the break is over I’ll be writing an essay using the information I just learnt from blurting. Thanks jade, I’ll definitely be coming back to this video in the next few weeks. Good luck in your exams 😊

Hi Jade! I absolutely love your videos and feel they really help me with my revision so thank you so much! In terms of sizing of videos I think a '2 hour study with me' is a better video to share with your viewers as I've seen a lot of you tubers doing extremely long and tiring revision videos such as '15 hour study with me' which I personally find just stresses me out too much as 15 hours is really over the top. As a person who is home alone quite a bit with my parents being both nurses and work 8-8 every weekday and sometimes during the weekend this really helps! My sister is currently studying in university, so it is still quite new for me to have this much alone time and I haven't really been dealing with the loneliness very well recently, at first it was great and I was very motivated but then this type of emptiness just started building up inside of me and has been effecting my productivity and mental health a lot. I have been using these real time study with me's to make me feel less alone and I just wanted to say thank you as they have really helped me get my motivation back when I am having an unproductive day. xx

Wow, Jade. I was feeling so so so unmotivated to study this morning, by I had to study, so I thought of you and Ruby. I played this video of yours while I studied history, then I watched one of Ruby's for maths. I ended up doing four and a half hours of revision. I found this so helpful, maybe just the sound of silence but other people working, it almost mimicked a school lesson so my motivation didn’t drop and there was no distractions. Thank you x

For anyone looking for more study tips- I invented one myself that's been so helpful for me and others I've told! If you can't stop using your phone while you study and you're looking for more motivation, try filming a time lapse of yourself working! It works surprisingly well! It stops you going on your phone and when you watch it back you feel so proud! Defo worth a try! xxxx
