Soooo a while ago, I had the idea of doing a swapping homework challenge with Folk, and let's just say there's a biiiit of a difference between Year 13 and Year 10 homework haha!! I hope you enjoy this 💘 Folkert edited this all himself (with some help ofc) and edited the thumbnail!! Lots of love x

It's the stuff that we're slowly running out of. It's a fairly scarce chemical that is used in things like fertilizers. Once we run out of it we'll enter a state of a "phosphate crisis". That's why countries like Japan build toilets that filter phosphate out of your urine. Sooner or later everybody is going to follow their example. Source: I'm a former chemist.

I'm in year 10 in South Africa and I just finished up my final biology exam for the year today! Funnily enough, it included the cardiac cycle, nutrient recycling and eutrophication!! 😅😂 so refreshing and cool watching you guys tackle the homework together!! (Biology mark schemes are definitely corrupt 😂😂) A+ editing too 👏👌

I didn't realise how different every school was, we chose our subjects in year eight and started all of them in year nine.

I choose in year 8 and start them all in year 9 but I think starting in year 9 is a new thing with the new gcse because we are the first year to start in year 9

I think that the answer to the question asked in 9:23 is: phosphate contains phosphorus which is one of the main elements of fertilizers (NPK). if phosphate concentration increases then the plants will grow more this will cause eutrophication (explain the whole process to get 5 marks) which kills the fish due to the lack of oxygen.

Loved this video! Well done Jade! You and Folk remind me a lot of me and my sister. We have a three year age gap but one year above. So I am in year 11 and my sister is at her first year of uni ;)
