You know I kind of been obsessing the past 4 days over the tower and whether or not it was a ziggurat per se or something more like a coliseum built to the sky like in medieval paintings. There is a map which shows old temple sites in places like Cambodia, Korea and Burma from the 1600s, so I am unsure as to what was found and what was known. In a book from the 1600s the traveller speaks of watery cities to rival Venice in areas where Anghor Wat is located, but it was not meant to have been rediscovered until the 1860s, yet here it is showing up in an old book, or at the very least a good description of what it must have been like AND on old maps of the time.

It is simple to tell the height of the occupants a building or temple was built for. Occupants height is always in proportion to the height of the entrance.

Dear Harris, I'd like to recommend a yt channel called Restoring the truth to you - he has a series of 6 videos showing conclusively that, amazingly - Mt Kailash in Tibet is actually the original tower of Babel. Mt Kailash dude! It fits every detail in Genesis and Jasher. And it is GIANT of course! Check that out if you want. He really found it, man. Mt Kailash of all places. The land of Shinar in Nimrod's day was way bigger, extended far to the east. Check it out. It is clearly a ruined manmade giant structure and not a natural mountain at all. 👍

Ps - sad thing is - because he is a Southern Baptist pastor he only moves in limited circles of similar believers and his brilliant discovery that Mt Kailash is the real tower of Babel goes largely unknown. He follows closely every detail of the text and treats the book of Jasher as reliable truth - which is quite right. Jasher is an amazing book I recommend to everyone - and it's careful attention to recording details is highly realistic - it just rings absolutely true, if you ask me. So to you and your readers I recommend this video series. (That is, if his Biblical Christianity doesn't put you off - by it why should it? He's very sincere and his case fits the evidence completely. He points out that the whole area in Iraq etc which we call Mesopotamia or old Sumeria is all in very flat, low-lying land, with soft loose bedrock - not a suitable place to build a tower up into the heights of the sky. But Tibet lies in the east, as it says, and has this unique high plateau, the highest solid bedrock plateau in the world - which is the most ideal spot for such a venture. So it all makes perfect sense - whereas Iraq and the middle East does not - and there are no ruins that really fit the bill at all. Er... And a Ziggurat...is not in the least bit similar to a very high tower reaching up above the clouds... No way. Not even close. A Ziggurat is just a sort of stepped pyramid with platforms - designed as an imposing monumental temple, yes - but not a tower. Two different things entirely. I think that what happened after the tower of Babel fell, was that various temples were built in memory of it, perhaps even of it's base design, to remind them of it, as they pined for what was lost. Hey man. I heard the best theory I’ve ever heard , ((in my opinion )) on where the Tower of Babel is. (Yes is.)(It’s still there for us all to see) I watched this series of videos on the Tower of Babel . I’ve always been extremely interested in hearing everything I could on that subject , Because the actual bible doesn’t say all that much about it , or the story that came with building it . So I read a lot of other holy books and history books about the subject. And I think this guy’s theory could be absolutely true. I know some of the Bible’s have where they say , where shinar is supposed to be at , But i don’t think they Got that all right I think they left out a bunch of places . Because the building of the Tower of Babel, took place only like 100 to 300 years. After the flood. Noah was still alive when they started to build the tower, (but I don’t think he lived with those people.) (I think Noah was far away from them for some reason) so that early after the great deluge , they wouldn’t of had any written documentation on where shinar really was. We don’t have any idea how big shinar was. The Bible made it seem like nimrod ruled the whole earth during is kingdom. Hi Jarid, great video. From the little knowledge i discovered, i think that the Tower of Babel was built in 2 different human cycles, separated by one of the periodic cataclysms which affects our world every 2-3000 years. In some of the images i found there appear to be two distinct phases of construction, one being an early stage, when they were still building the city of Babylon along with the tower and another phase in which the city is fully built and the tower seems to be partially ruined and mud flooded. I found this series of books called "La galerie agreable du monde" o the BNF Gallica website which contains 50 graphic books with images from many different countries from around the world from the 17th century (link below). These books can be downloaded in pdf format and i strongly suggest to anyone serious about old world research to download them and examine the images. Each book contains a treasure of knowledge. In the 4th book about Arabia, Anatolia, Iudeea and Assyria i found a few images of the city of Babylon and the Tower of Babel in a few phases of construction. I have seen quite a few documentaries about the Tower of Babel but nowhere have i seen these amazingly detailed images of the tower and all the people doing various phases of construction and brick making. After carefully studying the pictures of the tower from this book i have determined the location of the ruin of the great tower: on Google Earth, it is a large circular mound directly SE of the map marker that says "Wall of the city of Babylon". A long time ago there was a "super" earth and a "moon" where 2 people grew up one on each planet. The names of these planets are in a bit of a confusion but names knowned is: Electra, Mardu and Tiamat. These 2 planet ended in a war, in the war the little planet found that the rings of a gas giant had been used before their time as a weapon to guide the solar system, they turned it against the big planet and fired. The thing is - old Mesopotamia and Sumeria in Iraq which we know, is not the same city of Babel with the tower that Nimrod built. After God destroyed the tower and changed the languages, only then did a second Sumeria and Babel get built, by those became "Sumerians" with a distinct language. They migrated to Iraq from the old Shinar - which stretched eastwards as far as Tibet actually. Hence Nimrod became very closely associated with India etc as well.
