Cold Heartless Scammers Scam victim in the background. We do everything we can to help. ♥ • Patreon - / rinoapoison • Twitch - / rinoapoison • Merch - www.RinoaPoison.com • Discord - / discord
My mother got scammed last week- messages saying I had lost my phone and could she transfer me £1300- of course it wasn’t me but fortunately she phoned me to check the next day and got the bank to stop the money!
My stomach turns every time I hear those aholes actively scam someone in the background. We know they're doing it all the time but it's frustrating not to step in and stop them in the moment.
I feel your pain, I've heard scams in progress and sometimes I've managed to get victim info. It's rare that I get to learn of an outcome so it's tough but I feel privileged to be able to help in my little way.
Police by policy wouldn't let you know the result. Somethings are of public record but that sort of thing I don't think is generally. But they will very likely will follow up with at least a phone call if not a visit to check in. You just have to believe they took action as you did the right thing. I think saving someone from being scammed is far more important than any youtube entertainment being provided and time wasting of these jerks.
Hi Bea !!!!!!! 🥰 Here in England there is a programme called "Scam Interceptors" and they film in real time, trying to contact real victims during a scam. It's a frustrating watch as scammers stop any calls or tell a victim a txt warning is a hacker. Jim Browning is not far away helping the team and the relief when they succeed, but they can't save them all. It's heartbreaking but imagine if there were no scambaters. You all make a difference !!! Bless each and every one of you !!! ❤
@@ronpetersen2317 yeah, I generally report my findings to victim advocates who, like the police, don't share outcomes but do at least usually confirm that they've made contact.
Hearing another scam going on in the background is not only disgusting, but also very frustrating and heartbreaking. Thank you, Rinoa and Helen for not only sharing this, but doing what you could to help innocent people and educating us on scams. We appreciate the hard work you both do
The biggest question is why are people still getting scammed by total strangers?. It just does not make any sense at all. People know about scammers online and by telephone calls.
@@strongfoot2009scammers prey on vulnerable people (older adults, for example) who might not be able to understand the fact that they’re being scammed. Scammers target these people because they can easily be taken advantage of, which is gross. Also keep in mind that scams evolve. It’s great that you and I understand when someone is trying to scam us, but rinoa and her community want to educate others, especially those who are more vulnerable, on various types of scams. I hope this doesn’t come off as harsh. Just something to ponder 😊
Being deaf Rinoa it took me a few replays to read the script to understand why your reactions. (unfortunately my computer jumbles script when more people talk together) My heart went out to you, enough to deal with one, but to also hear another in the back ground and not being able to intervene, just horrible. I really hope you were able to help that victim. Thank you Rinoa s to ya, Stephanie.
Very true .... though most superheroes don't wear capes ... Spiderman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Wolverine, Cyclopes etc .... Whoever came up with that expression was not a comicbook fan :D
So maddening and frustrating hearing a scam in the background and being able to do little or nothing about it.. On the other hand, a couple of occasions, clearly heard other scam baiters working over the scam center in the background. God Bless you and your team.
This was heartbreaking to watch. The scammers are ruthless. Thank you Rinoa for doing what you could! It was uplifting to see you and Helen taking action!! Much love!❤
If you tell the scammers that they are vile scammers and they will never get a cent from you, they will eventually stop calling you because they realize that you will never give them one cent.
Proud of you. So heartbreaking to hear that call. You did absolutely everything you could do with the information you were given. I really hope that wellness check worked out and the police were able to help them. ❤ Keep up the good work
Why would anyone send his or her money to a total stranger?. The victims have to take responsibility for their actions. We can not have a police officer for every citizen and 24/7!.
Ty for doing this , my 67 yr old aunt got scammed and they locked her computer and she actually went to store to get cards and she is low income and she doesn’t drive , she is crippled also. So u doing this makes me feel so good that these a holes r getting what they deserve : thank u soooooooo much and much respect, if u ever think this doesn’t help ppl well It does so thank u ❤
Amazing work Rinoa and team. You are delightful and funny to watch but this one reminds us that these scammers are very dangerous. My mother was scammed out of everything that she owned and almost wound up in jail. What saved her from jail was her age (90). Every video that you put out raises awareness and saves thousands of people, like my mom, from falling victim to these disgusting predators.
Thank you Rinoa for helping the victims ~I think you calling for a wellness check on this person was heartfelt ~It’s heartbreaking these criminals ruin life’s {Without a care in the world} Seriously Rinoa you have a pure heart for caring .
I hope everything worked out. My lord there was a scam going on in the background of your call during the live. I hope the cops can contact the person who was being victimized. God bless you both for what you do. I am a faithful follower. XO 💕 from Pennsylvania
It would be great if she teamed up with a hacker. She is one of the best as far as making scammers blood vessels burst from rage and frustration. She could use a tech wonder to hit them hard.
It is always sickening when a real victim is heard in the background. To save them all is simply not possible, but the work you do, I have no doubt saves more victims than you will ever come to know. ❤
Yes. Unfortunately, that's a fact, my friend. We can't save everybody. Who knows how many innocent elders who fall into this kind of tree whilst you're asleep. But I think slowly the community is becoming aware thanks to scambaiters like yourself victim rates are becoming less. Keep up your wonderful work. I think it's the responsibility of our generation to let our elders become aware of these types of scams.
I really appreciate & respect this video, your reaction after hearing the scam in real-time shows the passion in your field of work. I thank you for what you’re doing! And if you don’t hear it often, YOU ARE A HERO, keep up the great work you’re doing😇
We enjoy listening to these videos so much, but the bigger picture is that there are people out there who are really getting caught in a scammer’s web. I would just remember that you are still wasting one of the scammer’s time, otherwise both scammers would have real victims instead of just one. Great work. ❤
my mom got took for 22k on a romance scam, and these video i play all day long when im not working so she can heard, she was one of many victims... her being in her 80's it goes in one ear out the other.. unlike her nest egg of retirement, so ty
My mom fell victim to a romance scammer, he convinced her to sell her cars and send him the money with the promise of paying her back what he borrowed plus extra.
It truly is really hard to hear an actual live scam in progress, and just the hopeless/helpless feeling of not being able to help the victim, just crushes your heart
You are amazing! God bless and watch over you and your companions for trying to expose criminal elements from scamming innocents. In today’s world it’s so easy to do. Scammers get phone numbers in your area code and location to make it appear local. I don’t take calls if I don’t know the number or name. Y’all crack me up! Again, thank you all for what you do.
It is very evident why you are doing this... Hey, Mark Roper has a team which does the very thing you wish to do, meaning getting on the scammer's device and downloading and deleting data. Then using that data to contact people to interrupt the scams.... Your GREAT TALENT would be wonderfully accepted, utilized, and upgraded!
I wish more Bitcoin machines would have proper signs posted warning people to not deposit if they are told to do the same by someone who claims to represent a major company specially if they have an accent. Keep up the good fight ❤👏
Definitely but if you watch enough of these sometimes they try to get the victim to not trust the bank. They make people paranoid or try to thinking it was someone inside the bank doing fake hackers are involved. They use fear and mistrust to manipulate.
I don't know why it is so heartbreaking hearing a stranger get scammed, but it is. Even though it's happening so many times every day, hearing it in person is really hard. Scammers are true scum.
Nice thing you did going above and beyond to the best of your abilities to save a victim... Respect Rinoa. But... interesting thing you mentioned about the UK... I'm surprised people in the UK still get scammed a lot by people outside of the UK. Here's a brutal reality that I realized once I lived there for over 5 years... The UK is POOR! I mean FINANCIALLY poor. Most scams in the UK are people in the UK trying to scam each other. But I guess, scammers, who barely ever leave their village towns in the developing world, even realize that the UK is essentially a poor country mascarading as a global superpower at this point... much of that demise being self inflicted BTW, but that's a topic for another comment.
Oh ... by the way when i bought my 5th wheel rv trailer the bank did make sure I wasn't withdrawing so much cash for a scammer. I said no and mentioned how I watch a lot of scam baiter youtubers referring to them as unsung heroes.
I did not know you can reach out to victim in the UK. When I try to report anything I can only report on certain websites to warn others in the UK. The UK fraud prevention is pretty useless most times unless I had been a victim and report a fraud website. Not all websites I reported were removed especially the ones where I was not paying the scammers.
thank you for your help with helping. its daft that they had a family in the background while doing this, but also be other people listening to this too that should try this. the women always get the most aggro so quickly, but the men take time.
What do they do if you refresh the page when they show you the amount of money in your account after the “refund transfer” It would be funny to hear what they say when you refresh it and it goes back to normal😂
10:05 I know exactly what you feel by saying that. It's torcher to me too listen in the background how victims falls for their scam. 22:10 is there any contact number or website for Australia as well ?
