What is the point of buying fake makeup, when I see someone I don't know what brand they are wearing, why take a chance of putting harmful chemicals on your skin just buy something similar that is in your price range

I'm a student and simply cannot afford the real palette, I have the fake one and it's brilliant! It smells strongly like peaches, has a serial number on the back, the colours are really pigmented and blend out nicely - I've been complimented so many times on my eyeshadow! I paid £8 and it looks gorgeous when I'm wearing them!

I wish too faced made the eyeshadow in little peaches like the bon bon palette has hearts!

Could've fooled me!..Wow these companies are getting good by the minute.😯

Thank you, I don't want fake as I don't know the ingredients. The older I get and the more people I know who have cancer, the more careful I am of what I put in my body and on my skin! I also noticed that the 3-D embossing of the peach leaves on the outside lid of the palette is more pronounced on the real palette, and the green printed leaf is darker on the fake. Problem is they are using stock photos of the real palettes to sell the fakes on ebay.

TALK DEBBY TO ME

For those who care...another huge give away on the fake vs real...on many of the fakes (not sure if many of them or all of them) but the bottom far right color should be "talk DERBY to me" on the real palettes and it is "talk DEBBY too me" on the fakes! My dupe palette that I ended up getting off Ebay "I did get a refund" as I paid above the store price not the fake palette price but it is awesome beautiful colors! The shadows go on silky soft, my palette's colors go on more pigmented than the swatches she shows and mine has a very very faint light peach scent and you have to put it to your face where like she said I can remember when they were in stores (for that short lived sold out everywhere time!) however the display palettes you could just open the lid and that beautiful peach scent would just hit you! but the difference between my fake palette I ended up with and hers it could be a difference in who makes the fake palette's, I am not sure, but I love and highly recommend the fake palettes...however and with everything (me battling cancer for 6yrs and I will be 44 on 8/21/16) the "long term" use of ingredients are important and with the fakes we are not sure what ingredients lie within but nowadays seems like everything causes cancer, I don't think one eye palette will be the end of your world....oh and great job on this video...

I bought a fake one from ali too and it looks identical to the real one here. smells like peaches, is pigmented etc. So be careful because the fakes are stepping up their game!

You'll notice in the fake 'Talk Derby to Me' is misspelled as 'Talk DEBBY to me' - telltale sign!! x

When I first saw swatches of real palette I thought it was fake cause if such small pigmentation 😱

They basically look the same and my fake smells like peaches, so I'm happy I didn't waste money

I don't get how ppl can be happy with a fake... even if the quality was exactly the same, same ingredients and everything, it would just bug me that it wasn't authentic. if way rather have affordable, drugstore makeup where I know what I'm getting and who I'm buying from than have some mystery product

i have the real palette and its not that great either lol it was so over hyped, they literally marketed it EVERYWHERE for them to not being able to process peoples orders. Disappointing, i really wanted to like it too. i love toofaced but this was a meh for me, fake or not

My friend has the fake peach palette. I got 2 real ones for Christmas and I prefer mine over the fake ones. Apparently my friend does to, being that she kept hinting for me to give her the other one.

I just purchased one of these a few days ago on E bay for $9.99 I didn't know there were fakes out there, now I'm worried. I also purchased every Too Faced Choc palette, between 7-9 bucks this last week, and they won't arrive till late Sept. I wish I would of saw this video before then, but am glad I am wiser from this point on, thanks so much! I'm going to go back to investigate the sellers product.

So I just got my palette in today and all the names are correct and it smells like peaches. It's not a over powering or strong smell. So since it's not a strong peach smell does that mean it's a fake or? Not really sure how to tell since it does smell like a hint of peach and all the names are right

I'm confused. I just watched a video that said the black serial number on the bottom right hand corner of the palette means it was fake. But does the serial indicate that it is real? I purchased mine from eBay since it sold out and I couldn't get it directly from the website.

In the beginning you were talking about how some people were being kinda nit-picky with you about your previous video, so i watched that too.. and you did perfectly fine. i hated to see you feel uncomfortable in the start of this video because of stupid comments. Hi, I have a question...I was dying to buy a real palette from ulta, and Sephora but they were sold out. So I went to eBay and bought it which is from here in USA, not other countries cuz I never trust them. I'm not sure if it is fake from USA that I bought from eBay.

Also in Debenhams they have many others high end makeup brands like Mac kat Von d urban decay Chanel which are all authentic aswell

idk if mine is fake or not because it is like the real one but the font colour (which says the shade's name) is more to brown and not gold and its not as shiny as the real one(?)

I ordered mine from Ali express and it's just came today, I thought it was a fake but it has a serial number and all the colours are very pigmented and it smells very strongly like peach? Is it possible that it's a real one??

The stem/leaf up by the top of the peach is bigger in the one than the other, that's the first thing I caught (around 2:33 or so).

The most helpful clues to determining if you have a real or fake palette are not going to be comparisons (because most of us will not have two to compare). The presence -or absence-of the serial number seems like the best indicator, if it really does hold true among the fakes out there. I just ordered one earlier today (from an untried website) it was such a deal I decided it was worth the risk but I will check back with this review just to see if I've been had. ;/

I have a real one, and I bought a second one off Mercari a while ago as well. the one I bought on Mercari seems fake although the seller advertised as authentic, whatever. The "fake" one has the code on the back of the palette as well, and the "talk derby to me" shade is spelled correctly. The only suspicious thing is that the smell of the palette is very faint, the peach smell is there, but just barely. Any thoughts ??

Wait. So the real has the code and the fake one doesn't?

Some of the fakes do have a peachish smell to them. Also it seems a lot of the fakes have the same serial number on the palette itself, but not the box. Some of them also have really damn good pigmentation to the shadows, which is crazy for a fake. The biggest give away that this is a fake is that the 'talk derby to me' shadow is called 'talk debby to me'.

Great video. I missed out on the peach and I don't buy anything fake but have been seeing so many peach palettes on eBay claiming to be authentic. But if the fakes don't even show on you, then as an AA they def won't show on me. And i can't justify spend 125 on a 50 palette when I have over 20 lol

mine is fake but it has a serial number but a few of the shadows are really bad quality but some of them are soooo good
