Fun fact the factory where they got the ammunition actually blew up by killing lots of people. (not their fault absolutely but just saying this whole story was fucked)
After listening to this podcast after 3 hours, David seems like a really intelligent guy and really sympathetic, and I'm glad he started his own company with his own passion. It was truly an insightful interview with a unique story.
@@bigbully666are you serious? He’s literally the asshole scammer obsessed with money who rips people off in the story I’m pretty sure not many people would want to meet him let alone talk to him for an hour or too and I’m not sure he would want to talk to them either, 😂
Wow, stumbled across this randomly and watched till the end. What a geat interview. He is incredibly knowledgeable and well spoken. Def got yourself a new subscriber!
He isn’t a warlord not even close. He hustled a contract, made some cash. Smart man, who can see angles, pays attention to details. He most likely is successful in everything he does
I love how detailed the questions were and then how detailed the answers were. this is the type of detail i want from every interview no matter the topic. also love the sorry deck in the back. been skating 24yrs
@@dannyjones you interviewed a "warlord", hell yeah, that was epic! Also well done you let the conversation just flow but subtly brought it back at times to follow a timeline.
Danny has really gotten into a good genuine flow with his guest. Its really cool to see the evolution of this podcast! Side note : The title should be guy gets rug pulled out of 300 million dollar deal! Glad David has found success in liue of his early misfortunes. He seems like a real mench!
Like Ole Saying goes ... Be good to the people on the bottom because you'll see them on ur way down !! I been applying that logic .. as much as possible.. since I first heard it from my General Manager at a car dealership, when I made Manager at just 20yrs old !! Although some people are just flat out jagoffs no matter what level they're at and deserve to be treated as such ! lol
First time hearing of this podcast, but this episode has me a subscriber. I love the movie and loved hearing this interview with David. I just watched War Dogs last night with my fiance. It was her first time seeing it. Keep up the good work
This was among the top 3 best interviews on your channel. David displays incredible knowledge and insight. This has changed my perspective of the film, which is still to this day one of my favorites. Watched start to finish! Cheers 🥂
I have been listening to all kinds of podcasts for about five years. this is by far the best all round podcast I have ever had the fortune to listen to! Thank you to you all.
I listened to podcasts all the tile during work and travel, and that is one of the best I've ever listened to. It's absolutely incredible what some humans are capable of physically, but especially mentally, and Dj is a textbook example of extraordinary human. Absolutely fucking incredible.
Turned out to be a great interview and I loved at the end when his face lit up looking at his website. Its awesome bro has something that he is proud of....well deserved brother. Very Cool!
Kind of funny how Miles Teller could match the vibe of Packouz in the movie, even though they don't look the same, you can tell he matched the personality.
This has to be my favorite episode of Koncrete thus far. David is a very intelligent guest and explains everything very clearly. I'm definitely looking into his new business prospects. My brother is an audio engineer and I'm showing him the sound pedal that David's business has now incase he is interested.
@@isailopez4132 Me: Are you saying that all arms dealers are fascinating, knowlegable and truly intelligent? Irving Lopez: Duh, like that's common knowlege dude. 😂😂😂
Hard for me to get into a new podcast/channel .. even good ones cause there is so many great ones... this is easy to get into to and excellent. Great host and great guests.
@@jakehalljokes Yo man just got done with it , Its wild when he tells the story of the girls that found the lifeforms first in vaghrina and the way it looked at them.I could only imagine.
Would love to see a really in depth documentary involving David, tells the story so well without over complicating it, real footage would also be awesome!
I've always been obsessive over money I grew up with a sick single mom started mowing lawn and selling chocolate at 6 2nd grade selling fireworks at school by 15 I had a motorcycle and was selling a pound every 2 weeks My mom was battling cancer and are house burned down, she was burned on hands and face so I took my GED and started hustling by 18 I was importing Xanax 100,000 pills at a time by 21 I had 3 pill presses capable of making 60k a hour, and chemist in china manufacturing raw chemicals... My upbringing and lack of resources made me feel like I had no other way to be successful and I felt like I needed to do it to help out.... The money came fast but it was gone just as quick the only person that got rich was uncle Sam
@@coreybears1848 I rented a house a maintenance guy was told to check and see if it needed any repairs before I moved in I had a 45 Mac 11 a uzi pistol a twelve gage and a few other guns Xanax weed mushrooms and hydrocodone six charges of possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony and four distribution charges and a couple other charges... The maintenance man didn't know it was rented walked in while I was gone saw the guns and called the police I paid a ton of money got everything dismissed except a misdemeanor Xanax charge they had no right to go into the house.. fruit of the poisonous tree or something like that I could of beat the misdemeanor as well but I would of paid my lawyer double to go to trial and it wasn't worth it ..I went from being offered 10 years in to 6 months probation
This guy, David Packouz, and Andrew Bustamante are probably the two most interesting guests that have ever been interviewed here. Really great podcast - he needs to be back.
@@oskarrrw The Russian revolution and the holodomore in which over 60 million Christians were killed by an 85% Jewish government was funded by rothchilds front man Jacob Shift do some research.
@@MiniMobKC no, Jewish cia guy is john kiriakou. Andrew is interesting but he seems like he sides with evil side of the cia. Thinks civil liberties are okay to trample over, in the pursuit of security.
Efraim is a prime example of the importance of relationships in business and in life. Penny wise, but dollar foolish. Once you give your word, that's it, there's no going back because you'll eventually cross that 1 person that'll tear you down.
Yes, the importance of knowing people with power so they can award contracts to their friends. All I mean to say is that the military industrial complex and its conspirators are rotten to the core, and I dislike these "blood- for- money" type of contracts. Idk all the facts, this is my opinion. All the best
@@justinwaters8679 hey man, I don't know anything about that, but nepotism exists everywhere. I'm just commenting on the importance of maintaining relationships in both life and business
You're already so self-convicted by the idea that you'll somehow accidentally become him that you risk being caught on your blindside by one of him. You cannot be afraid of utilizing effective (albeit often vilified) tactics to defend yourself from a person with his particular pathological inclinations.
The more that I learn about the relationship between international money, power, geopolitics, corporate offshore buissness interests !!! I realize that I'm living in, and watching a very well r oil e orchestrated, socially religiously connected, engineering plan. Design, and international staged implementation !!!!! I kneel and kiss the rings , master maestros!!!!! Bravo, bravo your majesties !!!!!!
Ok, the reason why the got busted makes way more sense than how it happened in the movie. I mean they cut out the BIGGEST reason, but that reason wasn't they didn't pay.
Instafloss! Omg….I’m getting one. I hate flossing/water pics…finally someone invented a better way. Also great video, this dude was super interesting, thank you.
Awesome interview, knocked it right out the park but are we just not going to mention how Danny and David both look like they’re made from the same clone ? 😂
Another Dope interview !! This guy is definitely going to move on to bigger and better things. I’m sure he has a genius level IQ . Makes me feel like a chimp still. Definitely a great story.
As a defense contractor that made a metric fuck ton of money off the iraq invasion/conflict, i like how this dude showed the world how easy it is to get paid from the government due to conflicts/war. Lol The Frag5 up-armor kit for the HMMWV made me a millionaire and opened the door to military packaging that im still doing to this day.
@@Leftiesarelosingit Did u not listen to the podcast? If u have to ask that question at this point you’re probably not gonna make it my friend. Good luck
The guy didn't take anything from all the deals he did with Efraim, who is a big cheater. Incredible that his grandfather was the same: a billionaire who wanted to leave his ex-wife with 9 children with nothing after a separation.
My dad did similar with me. Taught me well young when I was in high school I had to work in the summer for his maintenance company to pay for whatever I wanted and my school clothes if I wanted fancy name brand expensive shoes, clothes etc. taught me value of a dollar and decent money management skills young. I think all youth should learn that you have to work for what you want at a young age! Best way to learn is experiencing it not just getting whatever given to tou
One thing about the oil sanctions is that it can’t be more than 50% Russian, so yes we’re buying Russian oil. He is obviously very bright, but surprisingly naive about the American gov. Nothing we do is morally based, which is always our excuse when it comes to toppling gov’s and punishing populations with sanctions to weaken economies and punish populations in the hope they revolt. We have no qualms propping up dictators when useful. America spends insane amount on military because we want to dominate the globe, and we do, whereas Russia seems to work towards their own security. Our annual military budget is around 800billion-1trillion, whereas Russia’s is 65billion. Obviously Russia isn’t a threat to the u.s., but we actively work to keep their economy and influence weak, especially in Europe (nordstream). Many Americans want to arm Ukraine only because we are tragically misinformed as a population. No different from iraq,Afghanistan, Syria, and the rest of our military conflicts. Anyone interested in Ukraine conflict, Nicolai petro is a great source as an American academic who’s been living in Ukraine and studying their politics since 2013 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N8yH2euzpEM.html. Of course prof john mearshiemer’s talk on YT from 2015 ‘why the Ukraine crisis is the west’s fault’. This podcast interview of Scott Horton ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bCyNbuz1DiE.html. In case your confused about ‘democratic’ Ukraine, they may have elections but there has long been political violence by the government. Even the u.s. state dept had to admit a report on human rights in Ukraine 2021 stating, ‘Significant human rights issues included credible reports of: unlawful or arbitrary killings, including extrajudicial killings by the government or its agents”, and yet we have been arming and training them beginning with Obama when we backed the violent overthrow of their gov and installed the replacement (and were caught doing so with leaked phone calls).

Hey, David! Thanks for sharing, dude. Fellow guitarist (and drummer:) and I love asking these questions: 1. What was your first guitar and do you still have it? 2. What is your current favorite guitar? 3. Is there a guitar you always wanted and couldn’t get at the time but eventually did? 4. What is the 1 guitar you want that you don’t have? Cheers, dude. I’m going to check your gear out in a few.
Anyone feel free to respond :) Even if you play a different instrument! 1. Applause GTX 23 - I’m currently restoring it! 2. I have 4 and my favorite is my LTD M-300. Growing up a Metallica fan and in a Tribute band it has been my baby for almost 25 years! 3. I haven’t been able to get anything else but I’m saving right now for a 7 string and a Bass. Have a drum kit and a space to record. 4. It’s a tie between the ESP KH-Ouija and a private stock PRS 24 (purple flame please:)
1. Classical nylon string guitar I got for my bar mitzva. No name brand but good. Sold it to my sister, she still has it! 2. Martin acoustic electric 3. Gibson Les Paul Custom 4. A lot of the Warrior Instruments guitars. They're gorgeous works of art but insanely expensive. Maybe one day.
