Great question I was gonna include my reasons to buy in the video before but I decided to cut it out thinking it was too long. Here you go. 1. I want Sony apsc camera to compliment my full frame setup for better reach with 1.5x crop factor. 2. Sony that can shoot 4k 60/120. 3. I want S-Cinetone color profile. With possibly slog 3 even though I rarely use slog3 cus I am lazy 4. Latest ibis and Active stabilization (Digital) for handheld shots
Finally a honest opinion about the limit of this camera. Like the lack of evf and the only electronic shutter. I have the A7iv and in these days I was wondering how it could be have a Zve1 or A6700. You solve my problem...and my doubt. I do photo and video too and the electronic shutter is a problem and a limit. But every RU-vidr say "it's ok!" "There's no problem with the monitor, is bright enough!" "No problem if it's not have the evf, it's ok!". It seem to me like every person that talk about Sony in the last year want only the collaboration with the brand and no one talk about the problem or the "marketing limit" they decided to put in their cameras!
@lb_projekt thanks man yeah I want the a6700 because it seems the best of both worlds. But I got side tracked and pre ordered the new Nikon ZF instead lol. FX30 is an amazing camera but it’s just not the best for day to day hybrid shooting that requires shooting in different lighting scenarios. Video is perfect but photos you can get by just not for pro use. I would love to collaborate with the brand too but I am just a small tech potato channel
I bought the Sony a6700 as a third camera, I'm a wedding videographer, when i use it for a outdoors wedding and the 6700 got heat in around 16 minutes and turn off ...so i returned and i got th FX30 and problem solved!
