I wish they would design a strap similar to the standard Canon/Nikon factory strap where it is thicker where it actually touches your neck/shoulder, but is much thinner everywhere else. Besides the leash, the slide lite and slide are just so thick it seems like a seatbelt! There really is no need to have it so thick all the way down to the camera, the comfort comes from the thickness around neck/shoulder. Thank you for this comparison!
@@ToasterVentura I have new Pro version, it's a same. But to be honest I don't desire your putted cons of it. For me the only issue is a 30k in FullHD in ista360 app. My A54 can shoot at 60k, so I just shooting in native camera app for those videos where I want to escape a strob.
Where do you get that elastic band? Im online looking at elastic band stuff and man, i find a whole lotta ones that arent going to work. Many of them are just a long band with not connecting in a circle like. I just find like rolls of them, or therapy bands, or rubber bands, or every other kind of band, but not nice connected loop bands like yours.
Mine came from a Christmas gift box man. Dude honestly just get the elastic and then tie a knot ghetto style or you can use two paracord quick release to connect the two. Possibilities are endless my friend
@@ToasterVentura thanks! I have the nisi adapter but obviously doesn't fit in the original leather case, so I've been looking for something to carry the camera when the adapter is attached!
they could have designed it in all sharp square corners so cards and other stuff will fit.. flipside has better design but i hope they make it waterproof nextime
This helped me a lot! I wasn’t sure about buying this tv, especially because i want it for work and maybe play time after that, I’m a software engineer so i was struggling trying to figure out if it’d be helpful in my day by day.
Youforgot to mention that you can either use hand gesture mode to start the video or tracking (at least from my experience with it) but not both at the same time, and that doesn't make sense if you are a solo player. So disappointed and frustrated....
Can't figure scenario where it's can be matter? The only thing you may want is a record youself with tracking. Why you need to track yourself with no recording?
I think it’s the same point. We do want the tracking and recording to start at the same time and it doesn’t. You basically have to do two sets of gestures which is not the most convenient
Appreciation for showing us affordable items. RU-vidrs nowadays seem to think all their viewers are multimillionaires. I may not buy this but i am cheap too
Portkeys is garbage. Mine died in less than 60 days. Their customer support sucks and IF they choose to honor a warranty, you’re the one covering all the shipping cost. Once it’s all said and done, you’ll spend just as much with the original purchase and shipping cost, you could have bought a better monitor.
Dang that sucks man, so far my two portkeys are holding up ok. The shipping thing applied to my Zhiyun x100 molus battery too, died and had to ship back via ups. Luckily it was only to SoCal so it was cheap
I glad I jumped into this video I am looking for honest review for the long time for my s23 ultra, as I already predicted it's a heavy and insta 360 will not going to handle it so, Please suggest me which gimbal is best for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone with AI feature
Yo thanks for watching! TBH I feel like Android is tough to shop for a good gimbal mainly due to software app compatibility with video codec and image stabilization. I am going to make a video to address this soon please consider subscribing! Check out Hohem and DJI, Zhiyun gimbals too
@@ToasterVentura Hello. I also wanted to order Insta 360, but I came across your video and now I’m abandoning this decision. I have a Samsung S24 ultra and I’m really looking forward to your video reviewing the top gimbals for Android smartphones. Thank you for your video and your work!
The ai tracking is pretty quick if you are closer to the gimbal, performed pretty close to the Hohem M6 tracking actually. It’s not perfect, but fast enough unless you are Usaine Bolt
@2kime af is really up to your phone tbh and since the sensor on phones are so small, most things are in focus anyways. I wouldn’t think that is that big of an issue on either gimbals. What phone you got?
@2kime k yea you have many options then. Zhiyun is a great choice but you should check out Hohem v3 also if you need something with tracking and smaller
So for realz I been trying so many including Zhiyun and the new Hohem. I say Hohem app at least have the option to turn on stabilization or not, Zhiyun doesn’t work too well and I heard Dji was ok only.
Since I do a lot of POV fishing shots, how much does it swing if you’re bending over? I’d hate to miss a shot because it swings horizontal vs being stable against my chest.
Depends on how loose your shirt is man. For fishing I recommend the neck mount as it is more secure especially if you do deep sea fishing. Last thing you want is cast your GoPro along with the hook you know! Check out my review on the PGYtech neck mount on my channel!
Tilt axis has a simple work around. Stick your elbow out so that it looks like you're holding the gimbal sideways. You can the move it up and down and the movement is accommodated by the rotate axis instead.
Thanks for the info! That's definitely a downside. Are you still using this lens? Would you say that is a very common thing to happen? Shooting towards the light you can get some really beautiful shots of sea life or water movements so kind of a bummer if there is always a reflection. Really been debating getting this lens but that might be the reason not to.
@dinnersat630 yeah actually wide angle lens overall have high chance of reflection when shooting into the light. It’s only a certain angle and you need to be aware that’s all! Yeah I still use this since form factor of GoPro is still the same so far!
@@ToasterVentura Thanks! This uwl 03 lens is interesting I've really been watching a bunch of videos trying to see how much of a difference it really makes and if it's worth it. Really hard to say. I love just keeping it simple and shooting whatever I feel like. I would hate to come home and see a bunch of shots messed up cause of a lens reflection. Trying to free my mind in the ocean not worry about whether I'm in the wrong angle haha.
@dinnersat630 ok reality is you have one more thing to worry about when diving especially worry about scratching the lens. I always have the cover on unless I am in the water and the lens cover will float around and I secure it with a Velcro. You will also need to make sure you flood the lens as the water between the back of the glass and front of your GoPro becomes part of the optics. I forgot to do that a couple times and you will see air bubbles in your image. Image quality I think it’s worth it as you do lose a ton of field of view due to refraction under water but the result is worth it! You can get much closer to an object and wide angle view is the same without having to go to ultra wide lens mode in camera which cause mad distortion. Hope this helps my friend please consider subscribing to support this small channel!!
I need to buy one and test it out! Just got the Hohem v3 and the app is not very compatible with android either. Zhiyun smooth 5s AI is, but not perfect. Check out my Smooth 5s ai gimbal review also! Thanks for the sub my friend
thank you, i really like insta 360 x3 but at the moment I wanted to find something to use with my phone, I gotta samsung a55 so if the app creates microjitters i am concerned, thanks about your point of view
I have the iPhone 15 pro max and it’s okay only. I must say all the apps and eco system does work wayyyyy better than Android in many ways. Especially gimbal apps
