I say hi from Sweden, nice video, I going in to this hobby, I have rc cars, but my interest for aircraft is big, so now it is time to begin. Keep up the great work and take care 😊
I am new to this hobby in general. I have no complaints about your review of this product especially since I just dumped money into it via Steam this evening of 3/2023.
I'm late to the show here, I didn't think this was too long at all. Had a good laugh at the helicopter flight. But I think it goes to show how effective this program can be. I just got my first plane (waiting for a not stormy day to go out and fly with an instructor at a local club. I'VE HAD IT FOR 2 WEEKS AND STILL NO GOOD TRAINING NIGHT!). I bought a blade 70S just to fly around the house. And even that size can be dangerous. I would definitely want to spend a lot of time on a simulator before trying a bigger helicopter. I will be buying RF9.5 soon so I can get some flight practice in. I don't know who's more anxious to get going, me or my 6 year old. Thanks for the video.
Are the airplanes the only difference between the Trainer RF9 and the full package? For example do you get all the airfields with the Trainer package? Thanks...
Late to the show. I all ready have the RealFlight InterLink ELITE controllerl. Will this Trainer Edition work with it if I down lode on my computer ? I cant find any info on this anywhere. Thanks for your help. DK
I'm totally new to RC Aircraft and really appreciate your presentation here. I purchased the Habu RTF package. I'm under a Trainer at my new club, so haven't even attempted flying the Habu yet. The Trainer's time is at a premium so I'm spending most of my time on RF Trainer. What I find frustrating is Horizon Hobby (HH) as the "integrator" of this package (brings together E-Flight Habu, new Spektrum DXs, and new RealFlight Trainer) did not keep newbie's like me in focus to the end. What I mean on this is, there is no Spektrum DXs option in RealFlight Trainer. I'm finding the Spektrum 7+chl controller option to not fully fit the DXs. I can't get the proper controls on the DXs to match the trainer controller. A tech provided me with a document on how to create a new controller and I'm still having difficulty creating my DXs controller option. Here are my main problems: 1. I can’t seem to get 3-way and 2-way toggles to setup properly, they revert to proportional. As such they are not getting good readings when toggling back in forth while in controller edit mode. 2. I can’t seem to get the proper channels to match up to information provided in the DXs manual(s) with the RealFlight edit page for controller setup. I find this to be a problem because it will teach me the wrong reactions in training mode then I'll have in actually flying mode. I suspect you might have more pull with HH then I. I'd like to see the DXs controller as an option in RealFlight Trainer. I suspect it would be easier for a knowledgeable to build, test and verify this option then to have all newbie's learn improperly or edit and build a DXs option which will vary by each learner. Thanks for listening and I'd appreciate any help with HH and/or any corrections, aids, references to my assessment here.
@@rcgvideos HH says to get KnifeEdge to do and they haven't responded yet. When I delivered integrated products the customer expected me to fix issues like this.
If I install RealFlight Trainer Edition on a laptop, is there a way to see if the program will work without a controller hooked up? Thinking there may be an instructional video showing a plane flying - which would show me if the graphics work. Thanks in advance for helping a newbie!
Hi, I downloaded the trainer edition from Steam. I have the same controller (bought it togehther with G4.5 many years ago) that you show in this video but I can not make it work with the software. Is there any drivers that should be downloaded to make it work? Great video by the way.
Honestly wondering the same thing I currently purchased 9.5 and now I’m doing research and wondering if I needed to purchase this as well to get me better and more understanding of 9.5
Yes! The new airplanes, including the HobbyZone AeroScout S 1.1m and the E-flite Habu STS 70mm EDF Jet, plus the new Virtual Flight Instructor (VFI) lessons included in RF Trainer Edition are also included in the recently released RealFlight 9.5 / RF9.5 ...which you'll receive as a FREE update if you already have RF9: If you purchased RealFlight 9 at any time, you will receive an online update to 9.5 at no charge! Internet connectivity required to download the update after RealFlight 9.5 is released on October 1st, 2020.
