Realistic European Castle | Minecraft TIMELAPSE + CINEMATIC
Another somewhat older project of mine. I made this in 2020 and now finally finished the video after ignoring the project for more than a year.
The shape of the castle is inspired by an actual castle in germany that has this triangle shape. That just really inspired me, because I rarely see that done in Minecraft. I decided to build a full interior for this one, and most houses in the village have interiors aswell.

As things instantly change texture all at once or the entire building grows a couple blocks. But totally not world edit, sure. Might be a lot of by hand, but there is also a lot by command/program/etc.

world edit doesn't place the blocks itself to create cool stuff, it just helps speed up the process

I would definitely not call it a castle, its more of a palace due to large exposed glass windows and not many options for defence, however it looks so so so good, keep up the great work!

Thank you :D Good point right there,I guess it is more of a palace than a castle. I didnt really focus on making it built for defensive purposes, since its placement on the mountain seemed enough of a natural defence. But calling it a castle still felt better, and putting that in the title to get people to watch the video seemed to have worked hahaha

the hard turning in the camera work made me motion sick, so i couldn't quite watch it all but it's absolutely beautiful! the detail is incredible, it looks like a work of passion.

Thanks for that feedback. I had to speed up some shots to make them fit in the Video, guess i went to far on some parts haha. The newer video has some smoother editing and camerapaths, I started paying more attention to that.

Thank you :D I find that whenever I build the exterior first, I usually am to lazy to add the interior afterwards. So when I wanted to build a castle with interior, I decided to build that first to make sure i dont "forget" about it later on :D

@@Stone_Golem It is one of the finest texturepacks in my opinion. Recognized it since I have used it ever since he made it public and stopped using it once he made it patreon exclusive :) I still have the old 1.16.5 version, I put it on every now and then, when playing modded.
