Today I am doing some realistic fishing with earthworms, artificial earthworms. The gulp worms catch fish, especially bluegill. A week or two ago I tried these same exact worms, and couldn't get a bite. But today is a different story. I catch a bunch of bluegill in a short amount of time. The fish measure between 4 and 8 inches which would be enough for a meal. This just goes to show that a bait that doesn't work in one situation, might work in another, even if its just a few days later. I'm amazed that you actually caught a fish on the Gulp earthworm. I tried them and never had one dingle bite. I tried them more than once without any bites, I threw them away.

Sup Alex. I love gulp.. When I use the nightcrawler/earth worm worm I use whole worm on size 1 hook and catch everything, sometimes put on a 1/0 hook and use as plastic worm, got lots of bass, crappie,, perch ECT. I buy the smaller worms with grandson on smaller hook and get some surprising catches lol. Love the shade of gills there compared to here. Amazing same fish but different shades of color??? That's realistic. Great day! Ty tc

I'm surprised at both the numbers and the sizes you got on those things this time. An 8 incher bluegill in these conditions is a moral booster. And hats off to Debbie from Texas with the clip of that bucket mouth bass. She just doesn't seem to be as stoked as I would be to be holding that beast lol. Much clown love!!!

I would say the Gulp Earth worms worked on this day for sure. Just goes to show fish can want a different bait on a different day. Just because one bait catches fish on one day doesn't mean it will work every day. Thanks Alex. Have a great weekend!!

Blue Gill exclusive ... I love that movie .... when it's on Realistic Fishing :-) Great video, thanks for sharing with us! Those gulp products stay on much better than their live counterparts .. have you tried the gulp cricket? might not be the right time of year for it, but it certainly stays on the hook much better than the real deal. (p.s. I'm not a berkley rep lol I like the other brands too :- ) Alex, seriously, you make such a positive impact on so many peoples' lives, thanks for continuing to do this. peace.

Love the consistently excellent and realistic videos. Taking inspiration from your adventures, I fished my first creek today. Caught a half pound bass, two 4 inch long-eared sunfish, and a huge 8 inch bluegill!!! That's a great day for me let me tell you. Got these using live crickets on a $9.99 miniature Zebco combo from Walmart. Realistic fishing at it's best!!!!!!!

Nice job Alex, I've been having a blast going to the nuclear station as a fishing spot as the fish there think it might be spring or something, see nice fish swimming near the shore and lots of bluegill there, hope you find a hot hole in your place man. They're the best for winter fishing.

The pinched crawlers in a bag same brand work way better for me! Chunky cheese or bubblegum for trout and natural for bluegill. KIR!

Very few bites in my local area in Texas on the Gulp earthworms but have had good luck with the Berkeley power wigglers

I have tried the gulp earthworms before with no luck. I think my concept was wrong. I will try them again and think "gulp hot dog" that seems to do the trick!

Man your area is still getting bites My lake is maybe just a little farther North ( Table Rock ) and the bites are all but gone lol Table Rock has also been very clear lately maybe 8 foot visibility so that does not help matters Any way Awesome video Alex

I've a jar of the Gulp worms AND a jar of the Gulp waxworms. Both are at least ten years old. I haven't caught a single fish with either. 🤣🤣 I still have hope that one day I will find some starving fish.

Be sure to put a little action in them, just sitting still under a float is not recommended.

@@RealisticFishing nice I haven't tried using a red eye shad I fishing at a local fishing pier out her in California but I will give it a try you just never know it might catch a fishing I also love using the Texas rig with worms 🪱🪱🪱🪱 and plastic worms and Long casting hard baits for saltwater

I have a video where I catch a wild rainbow on a mouse tail. and some native brook trout on mealies. never know what they will bite on. ill have to try these gulp worms next. do u like them better than the minnows?
