the "equalizer" switch makes a lot of sense when you realize it was designed specifically for use with the Minimus 7 or other small speakers to help the bass output .....
I had this receiver with 4 minimus7 speakers one of my favorites the sta 204 was all silver lovers their smaller audio great sound and space saving worked great with minimus 7’s nice video
Radio Shack was a Division of the Tandy Corporation and their "house brand" of stereos were branded REALISTIC! The STA-700 is a good looker indeed with its black front trimmed with white fonts and a nice low profile! The STA-700 is rated at 12 watts PC RMS which is plenty of power especially for small listening areas. Like lots of Realistic stereos from the "VINTAGE" area the STA-700 has a nice warm sound! Thank you for your nice video presentation of the Realistic STA-700!
Realistic was a brand sold in radio shack exclusively right? I remember my brother bought a whole home theater set pre the dvd era at radio shack to connect to his vcr. It was descent.
