For those who dont know . Thats not sand , that is salt . When you heat sand and repetedly use it to make peanuts , it turns brown. In uttar pradesh , we call this arrangement as "bharsaaay"
It is super clean , I will buy and eat it everyday. It is being roasted in sand at a temperature at which sand is bubbling like water. What germ would survive temperature.

There are no added preservatives only salt and for heat they are using heated sand on a large stove. There is nothing wrong with it, instead of them now we can eat without any problem🤤
I am not sure what is unhygienic in that. Do you have any idea how much temperature is required to boil sand like that. Rarely any microorganisms would survive that.
