Good call on Seligman. One of our HOG ride leaders totaled two bikes in 2023 catching black ice on northern AZ winter roads.

Love it. I ride in 20-30 degrees most mornings to work. But it is only for around 30 min. I will be headed down that way in a little over two months for Arizona Bike Week. Should be warmer by then! Stay safe!

Yup I''l be heading that way from NM probably for my first tour of the year, either there or over to Big Bend/Terlingua TX. area, we had a 2 large snowstorms the last 2 weeks so roads are just clearing up in Northern New Mexico !! Enjoy !!

Great video drop today and love that you showed what can happen when you’re on the road. It’s not always easy to just get out on 2 wheels and make it to your destination. Stuff happens and you might have to make adjustments. Good choice made to not go another 70 miles. Great job by all.

Just had a little sketchy moment yesterday, out on the ultra in the Yorkshire dales, UK. Very bright sun but very cold temps. I went down a steep hill, and when I hit the shade and eyes adjusted, the road has ice all over it. New underwear moment for sure.

Ever since you guys did your first video in Seligman, that’s become a mandatory stop for my wife and I whenever we travel I-40 in Arizona. Westside Lilo’s and The Road Kill Cafe have become regular stops for us when we ride from Colorado to L.A. to see our grandkids. Hoping to move to AZ in a couple years, so it might become a more frequent stop. 👍🏻

Geez guys! with all due respect, youz guys is nuts! i live in Florida. I had to ride the bike(my only transportation)to work at 4 am. 34 degrees, 5 mph breeze, it was only 25 minute ride, my upper was ok due to therma, sweater shirt, T shirt, sweat shirt, and heavy riding jacket. i am sitting here, runny nose, sore throat, cough, chills. can't wait till part two. didn't mention, my legs, and finger tips, can't talk like that on YT. Ride safe, stay warm. See ya down the road!!

Haha gotta do what you gotta do! We wish that was it for the cold, but temps got lower in the following days as we rode into the snowy tundras. See you on the next one in 2 weeks! next week is a bit of a surprise drop that has been in the works for a while and kept under wraps

Hello from Lake Havasu City! Locals do NOT get fuel in Needles. They cross the river into AZ and save $$$$. Of course, when you're only getting a few gallons on a bike... I stay away from biking in the 'high country' this time of the year. I did my snow run from Sedona to Flagstaff and home on a busa a long time ago. I was behind the snow plows.

The little American flag stickers are always cool on your helmets..I’m up in Morher Lode country(Twain Harte CA) and there is definitely less riding due to ice here although it’s actually ok as I write this. Now it’s the residual sand left over that was laid down when it iced and snowed. I’ve been to Flagstaff when it was -3 before, it can get that cold there in AZ high country.

Glad to see you guys back out on the road! Good call not to push those last 70 miles, that elevation keeps climbing and Flag would have been unbearable at that hour of night. On your way to Showlow, hope you ride back thru Holbrook and get to Mormon Lake Lodge for some lunch! Then Lake Mary Road back in to Flag.

Yup, definitely glad we played it safe. We were not concerned with the weather, but with the potential of ice on the road, which was still there the following morning even after waiting it out a few extra hours. We had planned to go through Holbrook and ride the Devil's Highway, but after speaking with some locals, they were snowed in and it would have been the same story over there. Next time... Thanks for coming along for the ride!

Yeah that Highway has altitude and twisties for miles. A great run in the dead of Summer. But there’s a fun stretch over there from Payson, north thru a little town called Pine, another thru Strawberry on to the prettiest 19 miles in AZ on the Mogollon Rim to Clint’s Well, a fun old rustic general store we always pop into and top our tanks off. From there you can turn north and run up to Mormon Lake Lodge for a bowl of chili, or walk across the street to a pizza joint and sit on the deck for lunch. On thru Mormon Lake ride up to Lake Mary Road, and enjoy a beautiful 35 mile ride in to Flagstaff. Grab a frosty one at the Lumberyard.@@2LaneLife

I had the pleasure of riding through some of that area last year on an eagle rider bike. It was so incredibly beautiful. Now I’m stuck looking through the window to the frozen Canadian wasteland outside my house patiently waiting for Jack Frost to take a hike.

To ride into Flagstaff this time of year is a suicide mission. Glad you guys are ok but I would avoid any high elevations in winter. Just not worth the risk.

Nothing to do with the HD brand. It was an aftermarket exhaust and the extra bung fell out. Put 100's of 1000's of miles on modern HD's without being stranded. Thanks for watching.

Only when we expect temps in the low 30's or high 20's. They take up quite a bit of space, so only on the frozen tundra rides 👍

I dig it! Been using the 2 for a while, but being able to film in 10-bit D-Log makes things a lot easier to match color to the Sony cams

Those were not our bikes, we only took them on 1 trip to Sturgis and rode them for an event or 2.
