Great job Karen. I know there are times when others don't show the enthusiasm as we hoped but You know how hard you worked on making that space look so clean and organized and we do too! I tend to be very enthusiastic about the work done I've completed when others are not...I just remember how happy I am to get that project done and checked off my list!

🌺🌺🌺I have that book dear friend and I love it. At first my daughter bought it for me as a audio book when I was recovering from a brain tumour. I loved it so much I bought a second hand copy as I enjoy reading parts again and it wasn't quite the same as flipping through a book. I live in NZ not far from Australia where Brooke McAlary is from. I was given her book Care as a gift but I have not read that yet. Oh my word the yard is looking fab!🌺🌺🌺

Wow great declutter by your house! I loved the background music too😂 i raked the pine needles & my husband was amazed 😅 ps could Robin build a fence /gate to hide the garbage bins? It would create a little patio space for you💕

I guess it doesn't take much to amuse me, but the music you had playing while you put things back cracked me up! It IS so much better, we'll give Robin a pass on his non-excitement since he made the dump run. Yes, we visit our local library about once a week--great resource.

Yea Karen, that area at the side of the house looks really great now. You worked so hard and got such a lot done. I agree with the person who said you should pave under your bin area and I would add paving under the generator too, if you can. It would make that refuse area look more intentional and keep the bottom of your generator from rusting due to damp ground far better than the wood you have underneath at present. Btw, I feel you regards wanting a more vocal and positive reaction from your hubby when you have worked so hard, but what really matters is that we are proud of ourselves; although I agree a little more enthusiastic validation from others occasionally is truly appreciated isn’t it! That home keeping book sounds interesting. I don’t use my library as much as I used too, I tend to listen to audiobooks far more these days. Loved the woodpecker!

Karen, you accomplished so much! I don’t know if your fire pit is nearby but I would have sat by the fire staring at that area with glee! Moving those ladders and buckets takes a lot and you were working at a nice and steady pace. Well done! I love it😊

You re.ind us to be mindful of what our bodies tell us. I used to deep clean my house in a week during summer because I taught school. Since I retired, I fund it much easier to tackle one room or area every couple of months or so. I pay a lot more attention to what my 67 yo body can handle now.

Great job, Karen!!! You don't have to rush to get things done since that could result in an injury. Take your time, and you will still have the beautiful results!
