Love your review. No other reviewers even top reviewers are also not checking this environment noise test in traffic for tws/ neck bands. Thank you. This is the only feature I would like to check on tws and neck bands
Thank you paul, the much awaited review. I am still considering between air 3 pro and air 5 pro. Air 2 pro loudness increased after turning off Normalize sound mode in Spotify. Now, i am liking air 2 pro
Dude .. hats off 👏. Just 🔥 .. ur reviews are amazing and very detailed.. u deserves more attention and support .. Hope u get all love and support in future ❤️
You are too underrated brother, you deserve more audience, one of the best reviewer for earphones, the way you illustrate it's excellent. Hat's off brother. One suggestion : may be you should start a 2nd channel in hindi, may be that will work because so many audience are there who are comfortable in hindi, but please don't stop this English Channel, else I will suffer 😜
Just got this earphone yesterday Upgraded from realme buds air 2 (The battery life became very poor and right earbud completely stopped working recently. That's why I upgraded. The buds air 2 lasted for exactly 2 years) Really enjoy the sound quality The transparent mode is really good better than samsung buds 2. (also the sound quality) It also feels like you are not wearing the buds. Not a lot of earphones do this in this price range Noice cancellation is really good (When you turn on the noice cancellation when directly sitting below a fan it will cancel almost most of the noice. If you are new to noice cancellation you will really enjoy it or you used some crappy headphones with noise cancellation, you will appreciate this even more. I never used noise cancellation in my buds air 2 because of its poor performance) And the microphone quality is very good. Overall you will never find a earphone better than this in this price range Yes, the oppo enco buds air 3 pro is better in terms of sound quality but this earphone comes under a close 2nd Also the amount of features this earphone provides for this price range with its superior sound quality when compared to the competition is crazy
hi,,,what did u do with the relame buds aur 2 ..if u r not using can u give it to me....i am using a wired one which is not working properly...one side not hearig properly..if u can give me plsease reply me
It's so unfair that you have less subscribers. I had purchased Realme Buds Air 3 after watching your video. I hope you grow super fast. Can you also recommend budget gaming headphones for PS5?
Have a look at what Beyerdynamic has. They launched some new gaming headphones last year, which have gotten good reviews. I haven't tried them yet, but Beyerdynamic usually gets it right. I recently plugged the Simgot EM6L into my PS controller. Terrific stage on those for IEMs, but no microphone on it, sadly. Plus, the hardware in the controller isn't always the best. Have you considered Sony's gaming headphones?
Great explanation as always bits and pieces of each feature...can you make a video on Headphones under 5K-10K, I know there are plenty but still there is some confusion between Sony, Sennheiser, JBL..
Hey, I'm facing trouble with dual device switching with this Realme Buds Air 5 Pro are you facing the same problem? Do let me know. So i can replace this.
Hey just stumbled upon your channel and really liked your detailed coverage on tws products. But one thing I am surprised to see is the lack of Samsung audio products coverage. They own JBL, Harmen, AKG and the sound quality speaks for itself. I am looking to upgrade my buds 2 and really find it hard to make a purchase decision because of the lack of comparisons with these latest TWS products.
Samsung acquired the Harman group in 2016 and has been using all their research to better their products, which does make me want to review samsung earphones. I've only been hearing good things about them. I dont have any immediate plans to review any Samsungs just yet, but I'm trying to see if I can connect with them and get demo products soon.
@@PaulsPOV yeah I don't know if they seed review units of audio products. I have heard rumours about galaxy buds 3 launch so they might send review units near the launch. I really think Samsung in the terms of audio has nailed it for me. Unfortunately they lack features like dual point connection, in ear detection play pause, and the mic quality and ANC is just plain bad.
So its pretty clear their priority is sound quality then. Are they comfortable yo wear? I've heard from one or two people that their Samsung earphones were uncomfortable. It's obviously super subjective though.
@@PaulsPOV Galaxy Buds 2 are my first tws so I really don't have anything to compare it with but the the beans design might not be suitable for all. But yeah I don't have any problems with them. I have heard that they improved some features in buds 2 pro but the price is just too high. There is a chance that they can bring some feature improvements to buds 3. Also would like to mention that Samsung has their own Codec but it's exclusive to Samsung devices and I have tried it and it really makes a noticeable difference.
I've seen that codec option sitting quietly on my phone but have never had a chance to use it. Yea, their pricing is on the higher side, especially when you compare what oppo and realme offer in terms of overall features. There's so much in the market now with a good price and they're also good products.
How'd you manage to get it for such a good deal? I quite like the air2 pro, it's been one of my favorites for a while. How come you didn't consider the Air3 Pro?
@@PaulsPOV got it from flipkart, 250 rs pre paid off, 60 supercoin 250 rs off and flipkart axis 237 off, yup I like oppo too but wanted to try out realme one, I realy enjoyed realme wireless 3 which I got for 1699, realme is improving and innovating in there the earbuds space, the oppo battery has realy got down, from around 5 hrs to around 3 hrs with my daily usage of music, movies and calls, also the anc in realme are best in it's budget better then oppos, while realme is right now giving around more the 6.3 hrs, and also gives me lot more fixable options, I am not so audiophile like you but right now it's the best under 5k all rounder
I have these 3 to choose from, realme air 5 pro, soundcore liberty 4 nc and soundpeat 5 opera. Theur prices are in my price range. Can advice me on which one to buy?
Bought it yesterday after watching your video. It’s really good! One note - they’ve given an instruction on how to remove the bud from the case. If you follow that, you won’t have trouble taking it out.
@@PaulsPOV Thanks for the reply. Just a small clarification, how would you rate it's ANC over these? . Btw your reviews are terrific man. Keep 'em coming
Not a big fan of Realme at all, but *definitely one of Your biggest Fans* so watching this video is a must. The biggest pleasant surprise was perhaps *the dual drivers* as mentioned by you and then your exact output on how it sounded. I was immediately impressed because I remember, your earlier realme Buds Air 3 video which definitely had the 'sound department ' as the biggest disappointment because I also agree with you on something (which you repeat it here as well) as *_metallic sound._* Definitely it is going to be a good contender for Oppo Enco Air3 Pro and considering the two major things which impressed me totally was that *the Call Quality was amazing, amazing and truly amazing* especially when it came to noise cancellation of any kind of environment sound in any of the ANC condition and transparency mode as well as the normal mode. The second best thing was a small hint which I got from *the way it sounded* and I am sure that no matter how much clarity Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro would be giving, but definitely *the average Indian user would be impressed by the amazing Bass quality* which perhaps would give it an Edge over the market, especially being in the same price segment as Air3 Pro.. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HARD WORK... LOVE YOU PAUL SIR🙏🤗
Hi Jeasbe! It's always nice seeing you here 😊 Yes, I was very impressed with the call quality. It's a HUGE upgrade from the Buds Air3. Realme has done a great job there, as well as with the ANC and features. On a sound front, I'm with you. This will appeal to the masses, and something tells me, ill most likely gravitate towards the oppo for being better with clarity when it comes to how it sounds. I'll be working on a comparison that will come out soon, so let's see how they do.
I am using oppo enco buds and i want to upgrade to another tws but i am confused between oppo air 2 pro and realme air 5 or should i increase my bidget to 5k and but air 3 pro or realme air 5 ... Btw my phone doesn't support ldac and also I don't do gaming... I usually use tws for calls and movies anime etc ... please reply
@@akshanshnegi6730 Since you are using only for Calls and Movies ( not even Music)...there is no point in spending 5000 for Oppo Enco Air3..... Oppo Enco Air2 pro is good and In fact better for calls at ₹3000 than Oppo Enco Air3 at ₹5000. I am not a Realme Fan and STILL I WOULD SAY IF YOU HAVE TO SPEND 5000. better go for Realme Air5...REALME HAS BETTER BASS, ( The kind that we indians love and they are better for MOVIE EXPERIENCE) I am MORE THAN HAPPY with Oppo Enco Air2 pro as well as OnePlus Buds Z2 for calls... But at this time wont suggest OnePlus Buds Z2 as they are also OLD NOW
Does it has some kind of filter on the eartips? Not on nozzle itself? I want to change eartips like spinfit stuff. If I remove eartip, will the earbuds driver be exposed? I ordered it and it's on the way. So I'm not sure.
I have felt a slight discomfort with these, but not as much as the Air2 Pro or Buds Air3. The Air3 Pro did cause discomfort, but no pain. These might not be for smaller ears considering their housing is as large as it is.
@@PaulsPOV I remember you saying that with Enco 2 you had the same issue, it hurt in your left ear. That's why I asked this question about the realme Air 5 pro. Thanks for taking out the time to test this out and reply ! 🙌
I prefer the Nothing Ear2. It's better detailed in sound. The ANC on the realme is slightly better at reducing higher pitches noises, so if ANC is your priority, the realme is the way to go.
Hearing from my realme air 5 pro. Your review has helped me to choose the best. I’ve previously used oppo enco buds 2 pro. Yes oppo provides better sound quality but the difference is not that much. But for the bass lovers this is better. and the call quality, ANC is far far better. Got my air 5 pro at 4034 rs. From apple music I’ve tried ldac music, yes it works good
@@ananthakrishnanks4389 I've previously used it with my iphone 13 and it was working fine. There was some connection issues. but a very few times it occurred.. Not a big deal
Hey, I bought the Buds Air 5 pro with your review.. Quite decent product with very good sound quality but I have few doubts regarding the ANC and mic to check if I have received one with any manufacturing defect because I have been to such segment for the first time. Will there be a difference in the quality of calls and voice msg in WhatsApp if the mobile doesn't support Bluetooth 5.3 Mine support 5.2 at service centre they insisted it would be because of this there is a difference in the quality of both calls and voice msg. and is the product coming with glossy finish along with a design which looks like it has a lot of scratches on it. It has the small scratches all over and I seriously doubt mine is a used one. The ANC issue I faced is lack of stability in the quality provided throughout and when I enquired about it in the service centre they said this was because I'm adapting to the ANC and so is the difference. Great overall product but I seriously doubt what I got is a used one with a lot of scratches (it looks like)
Ideally, there shouldn't be a noticeable audio difference between voice msgs and calls, but the difference could be in the app you're using to send voice msgs. BT v5.2 and v5.3 is an incremental update, but if your phone has 5.2, it will be limited to its abilities. An audio difference between the two versions won't really be that noticeable. I dont like glossy finishes because of how many scratches they show. If your unit came with scratches out of the box, that's a cause for concern. ANC shouldn't fluctuate and cause an issue with audio quality or drop-offs. That may happen if you use the LDAC codec. I faced this issue with LDAC engaged. Having ANC on, on any product usually does change the tuning slightly because of the added load to the driver, but it's not too serious a shift with most TWS earphones these days.
Many variables at play. For some folk, two earphones have lasted 6-8 months, which is fine because the warranty can be claimed. In other cases 1-2yrs. I've had OPPO earphones that have taken me for two and a half years until their batteries completely died. So there's no knowing really.
Have a look at my reviews call chapters to see which one suits you better. I think the realme does a better job of reducing the background noises in my call tests than the JBL.
bro I just got this and these Realme guys have launched Air 6 wt almost 1500/- less....which makes me feel had I waited a day or 2 I would have rather got that its the same thing I guess at a lower cost.
I wanted to ask a few questions, please try to answer them. Like you mentioned that these are bass heavy earbuds. And noise cancellation is excellent. In my case I had a totally different experience. I have Samsung S20FE and S21FE and on both the devices they sound very off bass off depth off richness. That day I tried connecting these with a realme device. And then they sounded exactly like you said. Bass richness, depth in audio was on point. Can you please try connecting these earbuds to a Samsung device and let me know if you had the same experience as me.
I've tested these with a S20FE. I always make sure I go into the settings > sound quality and effects, then make sure everything is off so I can hear what the earphones sound like straight out of the box without any alteration. It's also a possibility that Realme has made their devices to work "better" with their own devices and have included a different tuning.
When I got the realme buds 3 I noticed that the distance you can go between the phone and the air buds was low compared to the 2. Is it better on this one? And is the transparency mode better?
Greetings! I'll most likely do an in-depth review on the OnePlus Buds 3 before I do a comparison. It's not yet in the works, but I'll most likely get my hands on it this coming month.
I've heard some people are complaining about the realme buds air 5 pro battery, they r saying the buds without case only last about 6 hours with anc and ldac both turned off? i think its even worse than oppo's can u tell me the truth please
copying is not as bad if it emerges in something good. The identical software features of both Oppo and Realme which took a lion shared of portion of your video. It's okay, afterall they both have the same parental company, BBK electronics. Next, I'd advice you to talk about the sound section in Layman's term. Being meticulous is good, I also prefer to be, but for most of the audience, it just short lived since they can not really experience what you're trying to portray by giving just two song examples of your own taste! so, no matter what you do, you can't just be 100% correct about everything about the sound stages since different people have different sets of choice in terms of listening to songs. so, it's better to discuss more about the allover utility of a TWS. Most people will eventually buy a TWS by its all round utility value down the line. I doubt a proper audiophile will end up buying this Realme one. For exmpl, Sony WF1000 XM4 might be the better for that dude. anyways, your mic quality test is a thing which I come here for every time tbh. That's great! thank you
Hey Paul just bought it after your review from your link. Just facing one issue, I can't answer and decline or disconnect calls from touch control although the music controls work just fine. Is this an issue with my buds ?
I haven't heard from anyone else about this issue yet, try doing a reset and see if this persists. If it does, it's worthwhile connecting with Realme customer care.
You won't be able to listen to LDAC for Hi-Res from an iPhone so you'll only be limited to the AAC codec. LDAC will be available via an android device.
I dont know if I'll be getting my hands on it for review just yet, but I do like what JBL has been doing with their latest earphones. The Tune Beam is a terrific evolution over the 230NC but it seems as the the 235NC will be the direct successor to the 230.
Hey brother, please make a video on Realme Buds Air 5 Pro latest firmware update, it's wind noise feature and call quality gets downgraded after firmware upgrade. Please check!
one suggestion, maybe label text on video saying its an english language review? i had a hard time looking for a good review of this earbuds till i see your channel. there are many in hindi or tamil, a couple in spanish, russian etc. maybe your videos would have more views from there!
