Brother this seems to be a problem, actually i am using this phone for 10-12 days, yes i observed the same thing with the proximity sensor that you told in the video, in practical scenario the screen turns on if you move your hand even a slight, walking and talking is a kind of case, in that case the screen turns on automatically, some keys like mute and speakerphone automatically turns on because the phone screen touches the cheek while walking this becomes annoying sometimes. If there is any solution then please tell me.

Bro,try this in X2 - open dialer and dial any number - open any app now and try to talk in the phone - proximity sensor won't work !!!

Very weird proximity sensor..the same thing with realme x and realme xt..it just and only works with the ear...very crazy thing😄 but it causes many problems. I just want to know how did realme do it?

@@deepaksahoo756 look, I sent an email to realme company. told them everything about this issue..the proximity sensor is working on just one position or in specific angel and this is not a good thing because you have to change the phone position from time to time during call. I want proximity sensor become in a free mood depends only on approach not angle...they replied..ok we shall see...I am waiting a new update or something to solve this problem..who knows!

They are very stupid , didn't understand me at all...in the same time realme redress this problem In realme x2pro because they know well about the problem ..proximity sensor working now very well in x2pro in a free mood. My problem is ..the crazy proximity sensor in xt is already working by his special way..making me in awkward situation In front of Company.

i just bought my x2 1 week ago. But during talking time when phone directly connect with ear that time also proximity not working. some times it work & some time it fails to turn off the screen. what to do, is there any method to solve this issues.

I thought, my device was defected, I think the phone uses multiple sensors at a time to calculates the distance the phone travelled, and if the phone is tilt or not and finally proximity sensor. Thats why when phone is in rest it does not turns off the screen. Try this thing again with your palm facing the screen instead of ear by holding up and tilting the phone. Seriously don't know why realme did this. Weird 😂😂
