Funny thing is I'm sure Khorne was not angry at Skarbrand for attacking him, but angered by the fact that Skarbrand attacked when Khorne had his back turned to him, showing a great lack of honor. Had he attacked him when facing Skarbrand, he would likely have struck the Daemon down either way, but not banished him, and possibly even rewarded him for the might he put in his blow.

Khorne always stood out to me because unlike the other three, there is no gimmick. Just war and violence. Combine such ferocity with a general that knows how to position his units and you have a near unstoppable brass tide

Khorne also embodies honor, loyalty and regimented warfare, he also thinks that those who kill opponents weaker then them as cowards but those who kill opponents stronger he will favor. He hates slaanesh bc she/he/it doesnt enjoy the kill but the suffering before hand and khornate warriors will kill their opponents quick and relatively painlessly so they dont feed slaanesh

Yeah but hes about as vanilla as they come. His asthetic is literally ripped right out of demonica books and is the common look of a devil. The rest however are very unique. Nurgle particularly clever and by far my favourite.

The realms of chaos are one of the many aspects of warhammer that first drew me to it. When I saw my first daemon prince in warhammer battlemarch I was amazed at the mythology of the ruinous powers. Nurgle was my first patron god in that game but learning of the other dark gods of chaos only cemented my darkened wonder.

I cannot claim to have ever been a truly dedicated fan of Warhammer, its only very recently that I started to really get into the universe as a whole and its lore. But man, do I remember when I first saw depictions of it, I knew that the one faction for me, was Chaos!

@@lordsloth9337 yes I always liked how the mortal warriors of chaos looked so heavy metal in their armor and their weapons are awesome too. The beastmen are my favorite children of chaos. They have the most diverse army in warhammer I believe. They are also the most challenging sometimes which is why they are so much fun. I can't wait to collect my first chaos models.

Tzeentch is by far the most intriguing. Listening to the story of the Crystal Labyrinth with those pictures and music in the background my mind is imagining his realm. And lots of blue, spellcasting, eagles and ravens as a symbol. The best Chaos God. FOR THE RAVEN GOD.

Could you write or read a Story about a mortal being slowly corrupted by chaos ? I'd have some character inspirations 1) A bored aristocrat looking for the next thrill, after he entered a secret cult nothing from his old life can ever reach close to the excess he enjoyed - and he can't be truly satisfied for long 2) a soldier in desperate need of more strength to survive war, slowly he loses his morals and humanity and becomes more and more raw 3) a poor farmer who doesn't want to die by plague so he strikes a deal with the Rott-father to live on forever and be immune to the diseases he carries through the world 4) or a scholar possessed with the desire for more knowledge, which leads him on dark paths

Man thanks for this piece I love the Chaos gods as it's such a unique concept, because it's not just evil for evil vs good. It's because of the fact that they are reflections of mortal emoticons and always made me wonder if ppl thought more wholesome passive thoughts would it change the gods fundamentally or severely weaken them. Would it make new Gods of order with there positive sides shining out more.

The elemental powers of the four Realms/Gods of Chaos: Khorne is Metal (War), Nurgle is Poison (Death), Tzeentch is Fire (Magic), and Slaanesh is Ice (Excess). (The dark Snow Realm of Slaanesh with him as its dark Ice King)

This video has made me remember/realize just how clean nurgle was shown to be in WH3 in comparison to what they could've depicted. The models are amazing but there could have been so much more grime and filth incorporated. There wouldn't have been much organized combat on battle lines as shown in the game, maybe this would have made the game unplayable in some respects but organized symmetric battle lines/formations shouldn't be a thing especially for nurgle even in its beginning stage. I think they could do much more in the immersion factor by acknowledging these things

Let's see, Tzeentch is obviously the glass-cannon Wizard, Nurgle is the Tank, Slannesh is the horny bard, and Khorne is the damage-dealing berserker. (And the Horned Rat can be the crazy Dungeon Master.)
