All manuals would have said to mount it that way since the R180 is what would normally be there. With the R200 it needs to flipped to accommodate the larger diff
Nice video, saved me some trouble. One comment though. When torquing for the love of everything holy. Stop torquing after the 1st click. You are over torquing when you click it 2-3-4times one is enough 😊
Get rid of that strap setup and get a technoversions front diff mount dude! Haven't watched your other video, but as soon as I saw that moustache bar I thought... hang on that's back to front lol
The original belt was there to help prevent the diff nose from lifting too far under acceleration. I used an aftermarket belt to accomplish the same purpose. Most people upgrade to the Ron Tyler diff mount with urethan isolator but this build didn't warrant it.
@joem6859 yea we torque everything spec. You just have to rotate the half shaft to a position that you can slip a socket on the bols, or use a crows foot.
It's your first Z so you don't know this stuff. " Like you bolt the front nose mount to the nose and then mount it to the cross bar. But these are the things you only learn after you make mistakes.
