Sounds like you got a pair of Borla XR-1 Sportsman on there with the stock mufflers and no resonator. I'd throw a mandrel-bent X-pipe on there and call it a day. Very well done...!
Not that I know of... it’s a pretty simple deal for any muffler shop though! The bigger one id start with is holding the valves open. Then focus on the rear resonators second.
Did you feel lag when hitting throttle? I took the middle one off, I guess muffler on my 5.7 and it felt like it had a huge lag on the throttle. It sounded ok but once warmed up it sounds just like a bunch of air. Ended putting it back and the lag went away .... I think the “back pressure” as they call it? TIA!
Vladesco911 no drone more than what there already is factory. ZERO check engine lights... nothing abnormal... I’ve done this to a ton of cars. The select few that have had issues I think were just coincidence because removing the resonators and holding open the valves should not be enough to throw an engine code. Definitely loved the mod! Even just holding open the valves really improves the low RPM sound!
@@shaytrask7538 thank you very much for the response. I will do the same to my Jeep SRT 2019. By the way, which valves are you referring to? I am sorry to ask I do not understand much about mechanic of cars...
