The underbody on that car looks great, the frame rails are nice for original. I can’t believe it’s that clean, especially knowing that car basically had no roof for many years. Making great progress plus you could always change it to 4spd still 🤔😁

Still think this ole car had the Car Gods protecting her a times! LOL

Excellent series, thanks! Can you post the part numbers and products you used (bushing, paint, etc)? Much appreciated, super helpful.

Watching the video now, loved the intro!! You could be shifting with an automatic, if you had a Hurst gate shifter!!

Dollys were a great idea I use them for lots of things. I wish I had done a regular video on my install rather than the time-lapse.

They are cheap and do the job lol

Approximately how much time did it take to remove, clean, paint and re-install? Really enjoying your videos. I have a 69 coupe been sitting for many years. Not much of a mechanic but hopefully I will be inspired to get wrenchin!

I would say half a day to pull the rear end out along with springs and etc., then half a day to break down and clean the parts, half a day to install all the new bushings, and another half day to reinstall everything... Two Weekends is what it took me, and it was my first time dong this. Hope that helps, but if I can do it ANYONE CAN!!!!

How did you manage to press in the smaller end one piece bushing. I can't get it in. I even have a press but it just keeps squirting out the side and won't go in. I know, that's what she said.

Hey Steven, if I didn't use my shop press, then I might have used my bench vice... can't remember lol getting old sucks! lol

@@ArrowheadGarage I got them in. Thanks. I used the press again but was more forceful. I was worried that I would shear the large end off the grommet. I agree, getting old does suck. My f'ing back has been sore lately and it was bothering me the whole time I was working on it.
