I think IS made Blutgang into a tome rather than a sword because they didn't want to face backlash over a third arcane sword. They could have made Marianne into an Attuned character with a sword Blutgang instead.
I wouldn’t have minded a new Arcane Sword because Devourer only grants a + 5 spectrum when now the standard is +14 or more. We needed a Speedy arcane red tome but it didn’t have to be this one, which could’ve just been a better prf weapon if they didn’t want to give a third sword yet.
@@ManuelKoegler If we are to get a potential third Arcane Sword (or other types), I hope one of them grants -2 Special acceleration. Yes, it might be busted since we only see that on B!Felix, but it can open up a lot of potential builds and make your favorites even stronger. Not strong enough to be on par with the more recently released units, but just competent enough that you're willing to go through such lengths. But honestly, I really like Arcane Blutgang's two primary effects (half Tempo and Special jumping) and I'm kind of glad it's not a continuous trend of the second Arcane of that type is a speed-focused one. I really appreciate the creativity and this does open up some potential builds for existing units.
Gonna be real funny seeing the Sword Tome on the red tome units, especially Kiria (the only tome unit whose attacking animations were designed with a microphone in mind)
I never expected a literal blade tome would be the only reason I pull on a banner but then this got revealed and now I feel like gotta return Spring Severa to her Mercenary roots and have her hold a sword again.
Lol, your spark will always be wasted because they'll render your spark unit irrelevant after the next banner. Hell, Timerra outright struggles so hard to kill B!Felix despite weapon advantage and having the latest powercreep skills.
Hey Phoenixmaster1, just wanted to say thanks for the videos and the builds. I just can’t keep up playing F2P with these new champs that keep coming out and heavily power creeping the previous banners (units from earlier this year already can’t keep up), so I am gonna stop playing Feh. However, without your videos and builds I wouldn’t have been able to keep on playing this game as long as I already have. Please keep up the videos and helping other players out there!

I was confused seeing Ashe and Dorothea. Could have sworn we got those ages ago but they were stuck in seasonal. Also I noiced IS balancing more now by not throwing out NFU around for free and same for slaying effect.
After being stuck in seasonal hell with two alternates, my boy Ashe finally got his OG after all this time, makes me so happy. I do hope Caspar gets something good at least, cause being the instant demote has me worried.
The highlight for me on this banner is definitely Ashe, and it's been a while since we got another arcane weapon. Kind of wish the older arcanes could get some upgrade, especially for all the units who ended up being prfless (looks at my N!Saizo).
I’m kinda upset that I wasted 30p orbs to try to get ice tribe Fjorm to end up with nothing but I’m so happy about marianne at last!,! It feels nice to have another goal to work towards to, time to summon a lot of her, I’m so happy she got another alt after so long
Every Black Eagle and Blue Lion student now has their regular version in feh. Golden Deer still has Lorenz, Raphael, Leonie, and Ignatz stuck in alt purgatory.
@@mummypigisdisappointed9985 I generally don't like that because then we don't get standard versions of the students, and they come at an extremely slow pace. I just want them to come out more often so that we can be done with 3H representation sooner in a much more true to text form.
Actually PM1 - it's not that surprising. 3H doesn't have any accessible dancers and Dorothea has been premium every time, so this is their way of ensuring that everyone can have a dancer for that game. (the only titles that don't have any easy accessible dancers in grails or as the seasonal demote is Shadow Dragon and Path of Radiance. (but as they combine their games with Radiant Dawn - it's kind of moot since they have Reyson & Rafiel)
We know they wont . Its IS, lol they dont listen to feedback or do surveys. Cuz if they did, the game would be in a better state right now. Cuz rn, we just have immortal BoL4, True Dr, insane damage , and constant skill creep
I agree with that statement. IS really needs to be released more Arcane Weapons made out of refines with 200 Divine Dews instead of 200 Refining Stones so that way players can get more benefits from other Arcane weapons instead of like extra plus 2 stat for that refine, Also IS needs to be stop grabbing cashes from others it's really not good since FEH itself was not normal as 2017 was, which means IS are low on their business revenue from 2017-2020. Not to mention, if IS are completely out of their mobile game business, do you think that FEH might have announced a shutdown? That could be the reason many people are afraid next year might be last, now now I'm just saying that if IS can increase their business revenue then it might last another long period of time.

The "outcry" over the obsolete as shit b8% units on arena is just whales making noise because their investments "have to be validated" else they'll take their money elsewhere lol, so essentially that move was anti-consumer (specifically whales).
I am happy Dorothea, Ashe & Caspar got their base alt. But i am not agreeing with R!Marianne. She is based on the Dark Flier Class and happy she got Bluttgang as her weapon but her being a mage flier is disappointing and her weapon being her tome as well. I still hope people will summon for her so good luck to those.
I feel the exact opposite. Dorothea especially was done dirty by being a demote. All of her alts seem Way more powerful than what we got here. Caspar I won't complain about since he's the grill unit; But what's the excuse for the others?
Someone needs to be the demote, and it's genuinely nice to have another Demote Dancer in the pool, there isn't really a reason Dorothea needed to be good and she has innate value as a dancer anyway, she's straight up not competing with huge chunks of the cast because of it. And frankly, we get more 5 Star dancers than we do demotes, a lot of dancers are even special heroes nowadays that aren't always available
Gonna need all the luck for Marianne after that Emblem Sigurd banner. The emblems feel like such must-summons every time, it's hard to save up with them around
I don't think you're right about the special jump from Blutgang. It does not say it is only for in-combat specials so it should apply to all specials, including AoEs. Edit: just tested it and yes you still get the jump with AoEs
it should do the special jump for the aoe specials too, but the difference is that the jump happens during combat so if anything it helps to loop aoe specials but not activate it before combat like the way momentum 4 would
Hmm...I'm pretty sure I am because AoE Special Jump has a separate clause like Momentum 4's description. It will explicitly state it works for specials that trigger before combat. Arcane Blutgang also has the line "during combat" following the special jump mention. AoEs are not "during" combat.
@@Pheonixmaster1 it will not help as much as Momentum with AoEs bc yes the jump happens during combat, but there is no clause saying that the jump only occurs for offensive specials that trigger during combat (like there is with Scowl effects). Since there is no clause saying you have to have a certain kind of special, it should apply to all specials. If it doesn't then this is an error on IS's part with their incorrect wording.

i’m very happy we finally got base ashe and that he’s pretty good! rearmed marianne took me for a surprise but it’s definitely much needed for us to start getting more modern rearmed weapons cause… any of them pre-prima are basically useless now. i am a tad disappointed however, as i’ve been definitely waiting for jeritza to get in and be super broken unlike death knight.
I've been waiting for this video. Blutgang, a sword, being a tome is really funny. The only thing that's lame about this whole banner is that I have to spend orbs because of the 3H fan that I am😢. At least finally Dorothea, Ashe, and Caspar are out of alt hell
So excited for Ashe! Wish he was more meta-focused though. Based on how much damage Thrasir deals to him, he should have 28 Res, which has always been his lowest stat, and 44 Atk. Probably lower offenses than Fogado who also got a more meta effect in his weapon. I'd have really liked bonus-stealing or even Pass on Ashe, which are both highly relevant right now and fitting with his character.
Another Rearmed tome weapon unit, yay! I am looking forward to summoning Rearmed Marianne for sure! I really need Rearmed weapons so bad. Also, Shadowshift sounds familiar to Shadowgift from FE13.
Not to flex on the Dorothea fans, but thank God the waifu favoritism didn't turn Ashe into a mediocre unit. Wish I could say the same the same for Saizo who is one of the greatest victims of this tragedy, rip.

You say the next 3h banner is gonna be golden deer, but they're gonna pull a fast one and add Alois, Hanneman, Manuela and Jeritza Or even better, some remote character that dies within 30 seconds (yes I'm still mad that Phila got into the game before Kellam)

(^^)💖 Funny how Blutgang is a tome and not a sword but regardless I'm really excited for a new arcane tome for my Snacki it's been too long but we finally got it although it's gonna be really interesting how it will look on certain units. xD As for Marianne she looks really fun and the art is pretty too although wish it was three hopes version since we already have post timeskip and three hopes one has such a great design and I really want it in Feh also they're really allergic to giving her dorte like seriously what did poor dorte ever do to them? O_o Also disappointed the spd/res discord is locked for cavs it would have been such a great b skill for duo Snacki as it helps her to improve in this current meta with all those debuffs status it inflicts but they had to shaft cavs again. :(
The CC negating Marianne's dance is a pity (esp for SD), but since I don't really care about SD, I'm more concerned about her getting walled by SF far saves in AR. I've personally found running OGMarianne problematic at times when Felix's AoE couldn't reach the far save & Marianne got walled--I suspect R!Marianne will face the same problem. I have a Rearmed Marianne and its funny that, at level 40, with a defense lowering nature, if you put the still water seal on her, her defence is literally 0 We've hit peak minmax
Man, Book 5 music was so good! This aided accessory is so much better haha finally I'll have a better pathfinder frontliner in anima season than D! Dagr. I hope I get R! Marrianne in the quest for Aided Dagr.
Thank you for the banner breakdown!! Making Blutgang a tome instead of a sword is definitely a choice for sure! I wish Ashe was the focus demote, but at least Dorothea being the demote is nice. Sure wish he was Blue though since we don't get that many blue bows to begin with, let alone a blue bow cav.

I have to think Euphoria is preferred over Thunder since it is generally better I pulled a couple of extra Celica's from the current Sigurd banner so Resonance is available and can also upgrade to Inf Null Follow 4 Halloween Corrin's limited manual is also there for Attack Speed Finish Should we try to get Flare? I would like her to have some resistance to maybe run Ploy if I'm gonna get her Rearmed Plumeria's kit
I like how this tome is kind of in the middle between weapons made for slow units with a guaranteed follow up and the ones made for fast units with NFU, a lot more nuke focused who don't really care about a follow up, I still want a NFU red tome though lol
This banner is absolutely amazing all around! It's a bit disappointing that they don't do what they do here with some other game's banners with quest units and instant demotes
Marianne is pretty good, I like that she color shares with Dagr, I like her more than dagr even though Dagr is probably more significant. It’s worth note that if you do have additional canto on Marianne she can dance by ending her action in other ways besides attacking. So that’s a way she can somewhat navigate CC. Ashe is whatever, he’s ok, but nothing new considering Robin. Dagr is definitely good because pathfinder is silly. It’s skippable but I like Marianne. Also reposition creep is a terrifying precedent. Also blutgang in FE3H is notable for being a magic sword without 2 range. Why is it a tome and Felix’s levin sword not?
Wow two green bow cavs in a month at this point I’m convinced IS is allergic to red bows.😂 I’m trying to save up for the end of November banner but I can’t ignore the precious cinnamon bun that is Marianne. I’m hoping I’ll get her and not Dagr as I’ve never cared much for her as a character, plus her mythic alt pity brock me on L M Byleths banner 6 times and I haven’t forgiven her for that, but even I’ll admit her art is insane.

I got really excited when I saw Marianne's rearmed weapon since it's effects would be perfect on my Alfonse. Then I realized Marianne isn't a sword unit.
Completely sharing the disapointment with you in regards of the bird accessory being such a nerfed version. Even though this banner is probably gonna be a skip to me, nevertheless I've found myself in the state of "...So you're telling me that I can have a Hawk/Falcon -acceosry for my Kiragi?" Even if it'd been a bit smaller than Dagr's one it'd still have been such a perfect accessory for Kiragi! Alas, not only is it way smaller bird but nor is it a hawk/falcon either. There went that hype for me, sadly.
I didn't notice that Marianne was a tome unit at first, just assuming that the Blutgang was going to be a sword. Then when she had two range I was very confused, but very happy with how she looks and I can't wait to see Hubert wielding a sword :)
On the one hand, I only need to snipe red. On the other hand, of course they gave the inevitable reposition creep to a unit I dont want to fodder. Guess we'll just see how long it takes for another (prob won't take long)
Sorry Mr. PM1 but I have to step in for my little guy: YES Dorothea is a popular character from 3H, but so is Ashe even he is more the „I am a nice guy“ type of character. Ashe has placed himself in the top 20 male division of CyL every time since 3H is part of it, many years he was even in the top 10 fighting (and sometimes winning) directly against Sylvain (who yeah, got demote treatment). So it’s not that he is unpopular in the slightest. Also my guess is, because of Dorothea already having three premium 5star seasonal alts and Ashe one and one 4-star special seasonal, Ashe got the win here against Dorothea. On top of that IS maybe just wanted to give us an easy accessible refresher for 3H, because so far they have given us a grail/demote refresher for nearly all the games, while 3H until now was the hardest to get, with all options being limited and 5-star locked. Now only Archanea, Engage and one of the Tellius games (but for some game modes Tellius is tied together and you have Reyson) I think are missing in terms of an easy available refresher.
I was _banking_ on Ashe being a demote when he eventually got added to FEH so that I could have an easier time +10-ing him, and instead he's a 5-star exclusive... 😭
Unironically, I am hoping to free Summon either Caspar or Dorothea. They're the last base alts of the Black Eagles and I really hope to get them both! A Shame that they're both demotes but I already have ideas as to what I want to do with them in terms of builds
IS been targeting tf outta me the past two months. Felicia, Flora, Fjorm, Timerra, Reginn, Marianne, AND Dagr? PLUS an Emblem, which are must-summons regardless... It's been tough managing to summon so many units that are marketed to me specifically. IS knows my tastes well. Depending on how my summons go, I may have to skip this month's Mythic if it means getting both Marianne and Dagr. I simply must have them.
Rearmed Marianne looks fantastic. About time we have regular variations for Dorothea, Ashe, and Caspar. Can't wait to get more regular/pre war variants for certain 3H students here. Aided Dagr looks cool here too. I think I'll try summoning a bit on this banner. Hopefully I'll be able to get someone from this banner.
This banner would be an absolute skip for me, if not for that Dagr art. I want that in my barracks. Damn you, Yamada Kotaro, why you gotta be so good 😂
